6	So. What have we actually accomplished here. I think you’re being a bit hard on yourself and this community. Sometimes acknowledgement of an issue is a bit of a slow thing but can be more important than passing legislation. For gay men, yes Gay Marriage was important but what was far more important was people recognizing our challenges. That took a long time for us to get and once we got the general population caring about gay struggles, passing Gay Marriage was easy.
