I hate this so much. They do it with women as well as races. Using all the history that the James Bond franchise has built up over the past 30+ years, just to use its name to pander to a different audience. It's bullshit. If you're going to change what the movie is about, change the name. 007 and James Bond are synonymous. Definitely doesn't hold up for me. We did the math and it was more cost efficient for my wife to stay at home with the kids vs her having a job and paying for child care.

Why do these things always come out after someone makes it big? Honestly, it feels like if you can place yourself in a room alone for 10 mins with someone that is famous, you can accuse them of anything without any sort of repercussions. From that point of view, why not do just that? Worst case scenario the case gets thrown out and you live your life as you did before. At best, you make some money and get the guy's reputation smeared like shit.

America's whole legal system is built upon the standard of innocent until proven guilty, but just a claim of sexual assault or harassment can be enough to end a career. Her post entirely lacks empathy. If she looked at it from the other side, she could imagine if she was falsely accused and people were blindly supporting a liar without any regard to evidence.

For something like this, they could follow a similar process that search warrants are done through. A form signed off by a judge saying the police are allowed to release the person's name and info to the media.

I think it's ridiculous that the name of any person simply accused of a crime is forwarded to the media to be judged by public opinion. The names should be confidential until after a trial. For all crimes.

By law in Iowa, and many other states, husbands are required to pay child support for any child born during the marriage. Holy shit. Could you imagine if this was reversed? Having women pay for their husbands children from other women?
