The fiction is that it’s the fault of women wanting chads. That’s all made up. Men used to be able to ‘get’ sex because women couldn’t live without a husband (or it was very very hard). Now women aren’t economically forced to marry. They aren’t scared of being ‘old cat ladies.’ So men have to be decent human beings. These redpillers can’t manage that. The counter is to live in the real world and see the many many non chads who are decent people and happily married or dating.

Hop on grindr and get tons of matches. Oh? They are matches with people you don’t want to have sex with? Why are you so picky? Just pick someone who’s good enough. Just talk to actual women who are out there trying to date.

I’ll say if he treats you well there is hope. But he has to escape the echo chamber manosohere and it’s not easy to do. The best way I have seen is the creators who mock that world (with logic) not pure refutation on facts or with science. Fight fire with fire. Send him funny/entertaining YouTube videos that cut this down. Realspeachprof is a good start. Chadchad is pretty good too.

I was 18 before I had my first kiss. And it worked out just fine. It’s a difficult thing to say ‘stop thinking about it.’ But the more you fixate on it the more difficult it will be. Because you will be in your head and insecure. If you just focus on being a good person and liking people for who they are, it’s more likely to happen. If you are desperate to have sex that will come across, you won’t be discerning, and that will make it harder. Women want to be desired for who they are. Not just be…

You did nothing wrong. Your BiL has some serious issues sounds like significant sex hangups directed at women (he’s mad at you and not his brother). These are his issues. He got embarrassed and probably mad when he heard you having sex. Rather than examine why he would feel that way he blamed you for those feelings and decided you must have done a terrible thing. You didn’t.

Do you think every woman doctor and lawyer is married to a higher paid person? Not to mention happily married stay at home dads. Then of course there is every major woman actress, the vast majority of whom make more than their husbands. Are there lots of men who get in their own head about this situation? Sure yeah. One of the ways the the patriarchy harms men too. But there are certainly plenty of examples that make this question kind of silly. I was just watching a clip of Scarlett Johansen te…

Activities you enjoy can really help. Groups are often very welcoming to new people because it means new people to play with. Just don’t come on too strong, and the goals should be to enjoy the time and space you are in, not to develop strong bonds. Just play it cool. Some suggestions: Chess, bridge, cribbage, gin rummy, often have clubs or regular meetup groups in a lot of places. Pickle ball is big for slightly older crowds, but a fun game built around pickup games. Basketball. Nerdier pursuit…

In sorry you’re going through this. I don’t know if this actually works, but I imagine one of the best ways to counter this other is short form media that appeals to emotion. Not logic or lectures. So find some short clips. Aim for the funny side. Mostly from men. The influencers are out there. They dismantle this red pill bs with quick take downs and sometimes lengthy information. I always recommend realspeachprof, but if you start there you will find others. Good luck to you and your dad.

This is often a road built by isolation and the internet. The algorithm drives people down a dangerous road. I feel like influencers are the way to counter this path. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part. But I always suggest people share clips of realspeechprof. He has lots of short form videos that are quick and simple take downs of redpill ideas.

Other people are right. You have to fight influencer with influencer. Realspeechprof is one of my favorites. Maybe Chadchad as well. The key is that it can’t just be educational and informative, you need it to be funny and cutting as well

I think one way is to try to deflect him down a different influencer path? Fight influencer with influencer? Digital detox likely won’t do it. I like realspeachprof on YouTube. He does short videos, but represents a healthy reality. He’s married with kids and is healthy and happy and really highlights that Andrew Tate acolytes just have a worse life. They live in a fictional world. Finding things that can slowly illustrate that the life your bf wants (it seems) is at the end of a different road.…

I think different than jealousy, it is living proof that their entire world view is bullshit. I am happier in my lifelong marriage than they will ever be. My life is more fulfilled than Andrew Tate’s. I love and respect my wife. I have a best friend. I have lots of great sex. They are filled with lies to help them blame their issues on the outside world. But reality itself is proof how wrong they are.

Get off the online rails that take you down a fictional path. Humans are human and the preferences are insanely broad. If you want a happy life, seek out better media. Rage drives traffic so algorithms will pull you down a dangerous path. This stuff these people put out is not real. There is a reason people down those paths are bitter. There are a ton of people in happy relationships where they were inexperienced or they were ‘hoes’ and everything in between. I recommend realspeachprof on YouTub…

Interaction with human beings. This was a childcare center. So i have known most of these people for awhile. So basic conversations that include things like ‘yeah, he’s great.’ Or ‘he’s the best’. Or even just normal expressions of thanks or appreciate as dealing with kids together.

I feel sorry for you. But also think about where you are getting these sources. You haven’t seen it in your online presence? How is that even remotely possible unless you are really shut down online. Are you going to include the people responding to this saying they do? You don’t see any couple online? No Facebook posts where someone wishes a husband a happy bday or anniversary and gushes all over them? I was just at a childcare event for my kids. I’d say that of all the parents there it was obv…

There are counter people on YouTube. A conversation can be tough and make people defensive. A link to a quippy video may seep into the cracks a bit. Check out the real speech prof and chadchad on YouTube. They are pretty light touches with humor and take a run and some red pill bs.

You can find funny/interesting counter ideas on YouTube. Sometimes sharing a short video you find ‘funny’ or ‘interesting’ is easier and less confrontational than a conversation. I’d try watching some The Real Speech Prof videos. Find a short you can share.

He is indoctrinated into a cult. You could look at some resources to help people out of cults, but it is very very difficult and always has been. Finding some better YouTubers and sending their videos might help. But my understanding that one of the most helpful things you can do is to try to maintain your connection and thread of relationship. In a way that remains safe and healthy for you of course.

Comments like this just make me wonder whether you have done any existing out in the world. Like do you exist? Do you just sit in your basement and watch YouTube videos. I could just go to the local mall and sit in the food court for 5 minutes and refute (what seems to be) your entire perspective of on dating. Go live life man.

The world is big and even ‘big’ marches are small. I don’t know a single nazi. I also don’t know a single person who has attitudes like you describe. Out of dozens of coworkers and dozens of fellow parents at school and dozens of people from my hobbies. And that’s just people I regularly interact with. Like go exist in the world and see how many women you meet who are ditching their boyfriends and husbands like garbage. Just live life as a good person.

Are you just asking why all women aren’t sociopaths because they can get mediocre sex with a crappy guy anytime they want? Think about that question. Most women (people) are genuinely caring. They want to connect with and care about other human beings as human beings. Most of them are not happy with being in demand the way you describe. It’s meaningless at best and often extremely negative. Because they are looking for human connection and have to navigate a field of people who are actively tryi…

But that’s not what people are saying. They aren’t saying you are a bad person. They are saying it isn’t worth the risk. Partially to highlight that that risk is a constant reality.

What’s ironic here is that people saying this are refusing to look at the actual numbers. You have just decided what they are and closed your ears to all the people actually trying to look at real numbers. While also saying the other people don’t understand math and look dumb. It’s missing the point on so many levels. Instead of thinking about the experience of other humans that would even cause this discussion, you completely dismiss them as obviously wrong and go about your day.

The leasing cause of death for pregnant women in the US is homicide. In my community more than 50% of women have been subjected to some form of violence at some point in their lives (although my community is very high). What kind of wild ignorance are you exhibiting here?

Red pill is thought distortion. It creates the desire it purports to be able to fulfill. Thing is that it can’t fulfill anything. It has no solutions. Someone who is charismatic and not at all red pill can have casual sex and casually date hot people. So that’s how Redpill isn’t ‘true’ at all. It’s brain poison that latches on to bits of truth to con people. Anti Redpill reminds us to seek actual happiness.

I guess that depends on your goals? A happy relationship with another valuable human? Plenty people show that goal is achievable. Sex with an array of conventionally attractive people? You’re probably right.

“I can’t date because of my physical characteristics” “This person over here has the same physical characteristics as you and they date/have a girlfriend/are married.” I don’t understand how this doesn’t undercut the point you are making. Is it more difficult? Yes. Does it mean that certain aspect of dating are not available (like tinder hookups or having women randomly hit on you)? Yes. But literally millions of people’s lives, lives that are happening right now in front of all of us prove you …

I love how red pillers insist they are willing to stare at the hard truths of the world. Realists. But then just tons and tons of people point out red pill thinking is not applicable to their world and is harmful to their happiness. But those people are dismissed. I guess that reality isn’t one we have to accept. Maybe because it asks us to be decent people and treat others with decency and empathy as individuals. That’s too hard.

First first many red pill people lie. Full stop. But I won’t pretend that’s all of their ‘success.’ First we have to talk about success and what it is. Red pill seems to attract people who want to talk about feeling loved and how people need to feel that. But it is a doctrine built on ‘getting laid’ by the hottest person possible as the only true measure of success. There is no warmth or happiness down that path. But then why are some of them possibly successful at getting laid? I would say ther…

Oh dang you are 17? I know it doesn’t feel that way in the moment but that is so young. You can’t make broad conclusions at all. Just keep doing what your doing, be an enjoyable well rounded person. One key I think is to just enjoy other people for who they are. Actually like them as people, and not as a means to an end for you. That is a path of harm. I didn’t date anyone at all until age 18. And dated plenty of people and am joyfully married.

But if you don’t want trout they are a waste. They take your time and bait and equipment. You’d get frustrated and likely quit. Personality vs looks is tough. But personality can matter more without saying that looks don’t matter. Especially for initiating a relationship as compared to holding onto one.

The bigger pool thing can definitely be inaccurate. An analogy: Let’s say you are trying to catch a salmon. You are fishing in a lake (there are landlocked salmon, but that’s not the point). One lake has 3 salmon in it and 3 trout. The other lake has 3 salmon in it and 5,000 trout. In which lake are you more likely to catch a salmon? Which one is less frustrating? The sidebar has a lot. But let me just tell you that from my perspective the red pill people just don’t seem happy. Even the ones on top peddling garbage just don’t have lives that look fulfilling. Not just having things we think we want, but have a peaceful happiness and contentment in life. I know a lot of (now) middle aged men who have a deep and rewarding happiness in their lives. We are all feminists, anti-Redpill, people with great wives. I just don’t understand looking around at the world…

The responses I saw did not concede you were average. You basically claim that you hit in ugly women because they should be grateful. Then they reject you anyway. Your conclusion is that they are full of themselves because society is telling all women they have value. Even the uggos!! You are pretty far gone if you think the responses saying that these women would rather be alone than with you somehow feeds into red pill.

What is any of this based on? Like an era when getting married was necessary for social and economic participation? When it was basically required for safety in a community? If we are just spouting observed opinions the bar is so so low. The problem is the bar is be a decent, kind, thoughtful person who is emotionally mature. It’s not about six packs and six figures.

Yeah dude. Maybe you’d prefer an ideal different response. But you’ve gone all the way down the road to you did something wrong and it’s time to forget her. Maybe. To me it sounds like she has also gone on some dates with someone else. Or maybe she got busy at work. Or got sick. Or a friend was visiting. Because women getting older and not focusing on superficial characteristics aren’t doing it as ‘settling.’ The red pill version is that they are forced to go for average dudes as the hotties they want won’t accept them. If this dynamic is close to true (plenty of average dudes date younger) it is because these women realize they would rather date the people they start to date. The two versions are different because one is an imagined settling. The other is learning what they would actually prefe…

Masturbation is normal dude. You’re losing your mind because you are driving hard against natural urges and completely twisted up in the way you think. If you are worried about a porn addiction then masturbate without porn. I’d suggest even finding erotica to help fire off the imagination and it is less likely to drive images into your brain you can’t handle. I don’t know that that distinction is accurate? A man swiping right on every person and sending the same pickup line to every person and asking for nudes from every person likes you for something intrinsically you? That’s flattering? You feel chosen? Conversely at least the strip club scenario is based on something you have done and achieved. You have (presumably) worked to earn money. The entire physical ranking system of 1-10 is pretty much bs. That’s the issue. Of course there are general truths about people being attractive to most people, or some people being less attractive than others. But the focus on a granulated rating system is wild and dumb. I just don’t find the distinction between 6-10 to be a meaningful one in relationship happiness. The reality is that we are heavily influenced about how attractive we think someone is based on their partner. Not to mention thin…

You’re right that you can’t generalize. So as a result I think you can generalize that women are individual. I’m my opinion and experience they want to be treated as fully realized individuals with individual perspectives and preferences. Treat them with respect and communicate and listen. Listen to their preferences and respond to them. Care about them as a unique person.

I’m not sure this is the best answer but I think a lot of Redpill relies on absolutely ignoring what women say they want. They do not listen to women, except the tiny minority who agree with red pill. Women are liars who say they want someone nice, but that’s just not true (according to red pill). The idea that getting women to like them requires them to be better people is anathema to them. When women tell them that they are lying.

Lots of things make life easier. But it’s still your life to live and individuals vary. Being rich is easier. Lots of unhappy rich people. Being smart is easier. Lots of smart people suffer.
