It's horrendous even if you don't start out with tendencies of depression and anxiety and it's that much harder if you do. You must hang on for yourself and your kids. They need you. If that is all you can think of to live for right now hang on to that. And have hope for the future. Take it day by day, hour by hour or minute by minute. Get out of the house.
