You can turn just about any topic into flirting. Communication is only 7% spoken words, While non-verbal (body language) is 55% and tone is 38%. Therefore, what you’re talking about is irrelevant, most of what your saying isn’t being said at all! Good luck

Agreed. Drop the self loathing and pessimism. Be yourself. Since you’re bi and only talking about getting a girlfriend, go find yourself a nice hunk of man meat.

My question to you is, how do you give a fuck about a girl you don’t know/haven’t met yet. Maybe befriend attractive women to make yourself less anxious/nervous when confronting other women.

Ask her out on a date, at the end of the night ask her to prom.

If you don’t want to completely ghost them, try easing up by only texting every couple of days.

Best approach is no approach at all. If you really want to get her attention and interest, she needs to see you successful and having fun with other women. Cause her to become jealous and self-conscious.

It’s the opposite of patience. It’s spontaneity. I picture conversations as a friendly duel of wit and humor.

One up them. Be more sarcastic and sassy. Not only with this provide you with an entertaining conversation. It shows you don’t take what she’s saying too seriously, that you yourself have a strong character. Plus this will help open her up. Edit: for example: You: Hey, what’s up? Her: The sky. You: Yeah, it’s beautiful. I actually painted it once. Her: you’re probably a shitty artist. You: it’s not the only thing I’m shitty at. Blah. Blah. Blah. close and fuck later

It’s 2018. If you’re at a bar drinking in Detroit. Unless you’re using a fake, you’re a millennial.

Neil Strauss also has the Stylelife challenge. Day one is to start a conversation with 5 strangers and each day progresses in level of intimacy/interpersonal skills.

True. I drunkenly told a girl at a concert that “you probably give great head with that tongue ring” She slapped the shit out of me and started yelling. I apologized, talked it out with her guy friend that was there. I went back to my group and had a wonderful night.

Yeah, getting out of the friend zone takes more effort than tell her you like her. Best case would be to use her as social proof to pull her friends, etc.

It would be wrong to not to go after her friend. Your old FWB’s emotions shouldn’t matter in your next endeavor. It’s not like you were in a committed relationship, then the same day you break-up, you’re fucking her best friend. Go for it bro! This will most likely induce jealousy in your old FWB. She might want to reinstall herself in your life. (That’s when you convince them for a threesome. Lol)

It’s good that she initiated daily even after stale conversations (shows she’s interested, or she’s simply dragging you along) Any time is a good time. I think it’s funny when guys/girls say they’re waiting for the right time to make a move. The “right” time, is when you actually muster up the courage to do it. “Over text”? My rule is never double text. It shows neediness and insecurity. I only do it if I tell them I will get back to them with information about my schedule or something. Then I t…

Personally I’m not a huge fan of texting unless it’s to set up logistics for a date or friend gathering. Trying to have personable conversation is not necessarily difficult but a lot gets lost in context. I suggest using emojis to express feelings/sarcasm/etc. (don’t overdue it though,1-2 per text is good number). But remember, text conversations should be reciprocal, just like in person conversations. For example: if you’re having a conversation in person and y’all are both lightly touching eac…

“Slay some college poon my seddit friend.” This line nearly brought me to tears...

I would say so. She gave you a pretty elaborate response to going out. Doesn’t appear to be purposefully flaky. Just genuinely not sure if she could go out. A tentative reply could be: “Cool, just let me know if you’re available. If not we can set up another time.” I wouldn’t ghost her or stop pursuing her because of conflicting schedules.

Neither. Both are ridiculous means of communication for any sort of “personal” connection.

This example should’ve been in “the art of seduction” The correlation to stories within the book are surprising. Edit: the fact that you are posting this question, looking for an explanation is proof that his seduction is working. Turn the tides, make him desire you.

I don’t even attempt a second text if they don’t reply to my first.

I know, I’m just fucking with you. <3 I agree. Fear is all mental and is ultimately only overcome through action (charging the trench, regardless of outcome). To OP: Here’s a good post that should help you get over this anxiety and fear you’re having. I would say “good luck” but that would mean this is a game of chance. You’re capable of doing this. Our species has done it for thousands of years. Get out of your own way, an abundance of joy (women) lies on the other side. https://www.reddit.com/…

I think the WWI reference is irrelevant. Many soldiers were drafted (forced into combat) Once they got there it wasn’t “growing a pair” that led them to charge trenches. Rather, knowing that if they didn’t they would be shot for desertion (which is still an act of treason). But yes, you do just need to grow a pair and take action. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, even if they were going to be slam dunks on a child’s 3ft rim. Tackle the fear, you will be surprised how mediocre (probably…

I absolutely love Hemingway! I'm glad a short story of his made it to this thread. Many Hemingway novels that may seem out of the ordinary have applicable meanings to everyday life. I appreciate the time you took to post the story and your analysis of it!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
