What discussion?

Ffs have you tried looking for the definite integral of a normal distribution function over an interval of 0? Hint it's 0. The definite integral over a domain which is an infinitesimal point on a continuous scale is 0 of any univariate function is 0. Because you end up with a number minus itself. You have to consider actual intervals (non 0) to get an actual count of anything. Some people prefer to use Q3 - Q1 as the interval for the mode.

Upper fourth percentile? It's one thing to be a snide and self-congratulating but you can't just go throwing around statistics terms like they mean nothing.

Not you though right? You're just the super wise observer who knows better than to engage with these jackasses right? You're so cool man, above it all aren't you? You cool soab you

It's not the mod's fault. "Good faith" is subjective and it shouldn't be left to the discretion of mods to decide. I agree selective enforcement is bad, but I don't think the right thing is egalitarian fascism. This is a situation where I support small government. I can't tell you how hard it is for someone like me to argue without sarcasm but mods tend to delete those.

Normal distributions are continuous. It's meaningless to pick the median and call it the mode if you apply it to a population. There might be no one with that property indicated by the median. You have to consider it in intervals noob.

In this case it's most likely mode. If you say average Joe.

That's only if you use median as average.

It means whatever it means when TRP refers to it. What does "just a little bit of vulnerability" look like?

How is it consistent with selfishness to have allies? Also, is family off limits for selfishness and why?

How selfish are you exactly? What's your take on altruists? Do you think they just haven't heard the gospel of selfishness yet or are simply retarded?

I doesn't have to be one way or the other dude. We are smart enough to figure out a way for both parties to benefit.

The PC thing to do is to ask for consent every step of the way. Some women might react negatively. You NEVER KNOW and it's not black and white.

Say you ask a girl out and she obliges and she seems to be super into you. Or even a co-worker and there seems to be a momentary spark. You lean in to kiss her, you make out for a while and you grab her ass. Would that be a big deal?

What about you both lean in for a kiss and you decide to take some initiative? Would that be a big deal? It's not black and white like you want it to seem.

Relationship dynamics in the US is distributed on a flat curve. You have relationship dynamics on all extremes but is for the most part asymmetric and not necessarily predominantly "for" men against women.

Men do understand. That's my point, a lot of these guys who do sexually harassment are people who would have probably thought. "Me? Violate women? Never in a million years." They do what they think is right but they end up being mistaken. We need to actually have a conversation rather than simply saying men should always be like this or like that and pretend they are not fallible human beings.

I didn't say men can't figure out where the line is. My view is that men may misinterpret signals. I don't think you could ask men to never assume signals either. I believe that men's social and emotional nature is inseparably tied with their sexual nature. I personally believe that as women may experience and express fondness through say, wanting to spend time with that person as well as sexual attraction sometimes, with men I believe that it is much more likely to be experienced as sexual attr…

There are much less men who have violently assaulted someone than men who have been sexually inappropriate. Like I said I believe that sexual harassment and assault in some cases are not borne by intent to harm but are the result of misunderstood expression of male sexuality unlike physical assault which is almost always done with an intention to harm.

That's still not necessarily healthy if their supposed immunity is a result of frequent run-ins with perverts. I personally don't believe men just think "yeah, she'll get soaked if I tell her..." I think sometimes they think it's a harmless compliment. As harmless as it is when women do it.

Russia imo has an asymmetrical sexual dynamic. As a result it's only a matter of time before it's challenged by women who've had enough.

I don't think it's a problem of lack of control. Like I said, I think it's sometimes an issue of mistakenly anticipating reciprocity or failure to grasp the significance of their actions. Men make up a significant proportion of the general population so if I'm right it affects all of us and we need to deal with it together.

"Society should be structured around an assumption that men cannot be expected to exhibit impeccable sexual repression at the workplace in all situations at all times."

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
