That's not the point.

This is what actually happened, Neo connected himself to the mainframe so when smith possessed him like he did with all the others, smith was solved. Neo was just like the others he possessed, when smith was solved, like the architect said, they'll all be freed. Neo now exists in the real world and he's not dead because we saw through Neo's "eyes".

Idgaf how many times you've seen the movie. I have also seen it myself. Neo defeats smith at the end and he didn't stop existing after that. I could tell a policeman that terrorists are him, his negative, and his opposite and it would carry the same meaning. It wouldn't mean he was literally the terrorist.

The matrix movie itself has a philosophy which is being subverted by TRP for negative ends which is in direct conflict with the central philosophy of the movie itself. Imagine a child who watches the justice league and says I want to be just like batman and fight crime and some mob boss in an alleyway who tries to recruit the child by twisting what batman represents.

It doesn't not match ANY aspect. To me it's like ISIS calling themselves the justice league. They couldn't be less like the other. It isn't "safe" to be nice. TRP is very misanthropic at it's core (I get the irony) whereas the red pill in the matrix is very proanthropic and even pro sentient AI.

Idc about that. I'm talking about what TRP is and pushes. It pushes self interest which is the opposite of what happens when you take the red pill in the matrix.

Simply looking at what the movie ACTUALLY is instead of making things up, taking the red pill took you to the real world and taking the blue one allowed you to preserve the status quo in the matrix. They did different things and are not the same thing. Neo and smith are not the same person, that makes no sense. Smith is a bad glitch, like warewolves and vampires according to the oracle. Neo is the IT guy, literally. To say they are the same doesn't make any sense whatsoever

My point is, they take something good and they twist it.

Because TRP tries to make itself look like the good guy by adopting the idea of the red pill.

It feels like there's a lot of the latter in the newer generations. Is humanitarian liberalism dying?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
