Reading this hits quite close to home. I like a girl but I'm scared that she won't like me back, and if she doesn't then I fear that it would destroy what friendship there was. Also I hate myself that I can't have serious conversations with my friends without feeling weird And it's because of this, when my friend was cutting himself I couldn't talk to him, and trying to help him by telling staff at the school only made the situation worse. It may come down a each genders original purpose, whereas females are more geared towards more loving (because maternal instincts, don't take it the wrong way).
