I would add it divorce decree that she can revert back to her maiden name just in case. I think a lot of women keep the married name because of the hassle of changing it. It's significantly easier to change if it's in the decree. But ultimately if she decides to keep your name I wouldn't even try to rationalize it or lose any sleep.

Are you willing to work with another attorney from the original law firm? You should look up the bar association rules for when an attorney leaves a firm to see what the rules are for your state. You could potentially work something out with the firm to get your orders written and your original debt paid off.

Your argument for the kids not moving has to be framed "in the best interest of the children." Are the kids currently enrolled in school? Is there a support system in NJ that isn't available in GA? Uprooting children who are already enrolled in school, with friends, and a support system in the area to move to GA doesn't seem conducive to their best interest. Also with the covid surge in GA/FL area there could be potential health implications, another lockdown, etc. Does your ex wife already have…

You should get a free Google voice number. It only works on voip thru wifi, but you are still able to make phone calls and check voicemails. You could also reach out to the phone company and see about ending the contract early or going to another provider that will pay the early termination fee for you. If that doesn't work, as soon as the contract is over get your own line.

You can typically request a modification based on a change in circumstances. The ex moving further away is definitely a change in circumstances. He needs to go to court and change the plan.

I definitely understand how you felt. I separated in Oct 2017, divorced in Sep 2019, and am still going thru asset division now. I constantly feel like a failure. It was significantly worse in the beginning and now there are more good days than bad. My mindset changed when I asked myself one question "what is my purpose in life?" Finding purpose will change your outlook and give you something to look forward too. We all handle life differently so don't think you have a strict timeline until the …

Obviously lawyer up. You need a paper trail to back up what you are saying. Ensure that you are documenting her denying your visitation either thru text or email. Also, give her the opportunity to make up your visitation. You have a better case to claim contempt for her violating the custody agreement if she not only violated the agreement but was given the opportunity to fix it and didn't.

They weren't officially married. They never got a marriage certificate, they just had a ceremony. So ultimately he dodged a huge bullet because this could of been a lot worse.

The women online don't represent every available woman out there. If dating apps don't have what you're looking for find another place to meet women.

You receive copies of anything filed related to your case. It could be a million reasons why the lawyer chose to withdraw (i.e. money, personality conflict, wife wasn't taking advice, discovery of something that ex didn't reveal, your wife fired the attorney, etc.). The biggest thing is expect that your case could potentially drag on because a new lawyer will probably come in and ask for a continuance to get up to speed on the case (i.e. request everything filed with court, get file from previou…

Whoever she stopped talking to you for, dumped her. She's coming back to get some attention to help her damaged ego. You have two options: Option 1 - cut her off Option 2 - keep her around for what she can offer (sex, her friends, employee discounts, etc.) but give her zero effort.

I honestly thought I was the only one who dealt with the sleep interruption. I'm glad to see somebody come out better on the other side

If you go to HR you should focus on the fact that she yelled at you and that it has made the workplace uncomfortable for you. You shouldn't even bring up how she interpreted your comment. I would simply say that my hands were dirty, she was the closest person to me and I asked her to peel some fruit and then she exploded. And that you want it addressed immediately so that the situation doesn't escalate on her end.

There's a podcast called Beige Phillip. He has a principle called "laying the 5 bricks " Essentially every day for 3 months you go out and talk to 5 women a day without the intent of trying to have sex. Naturally by talking to that many women you will fall into some sex, but the most important aspect is you will find your voice and not need pua tactics. Also, you won't be enamored by women and how good they look. You will start to notice patterns and look at them all the same.

You'll drive yourself crazy thinking about what ifs. Take this as a great learning experience. Like everybody else is saying, get off social media. Don't ever interact with her again. Be thankful that this situation ended the way it did, because imagine being joined to the hip with her for the next 18-21 years. She belongs to the game now and is somebody elses problem.

"Me time" goes out the window when you have a kid. You need to address the anxiety and health issues and find resolutions to those. The less overnights you have, generally the more child support you will have to pay. And you don't want the courts to get involved and give you even less time with your child because you need more "me time."

The advice on this was insane. Destroy the evidence if she tells him to and never mention it again. Men are villified if they leave a child, but because she said she was allegedly 'abused' it's ok for her to be a deadbeat

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
