2	Double standards Sigh, I just got done discarding an edit to this; should have kept it! I should have read the whole chain a bit better. Your first post was basically stating what I said. Your second post made it seem to me that you were arguing that a statistician would never refer to the "mean" as the "average," which is what I disagreed with, but you weren't ever arguing that.
