Personally from what I’ve seen in my city and community, female cheaters are always put on show and shamed for cheating but for male cheaters they’re more expected to cheat so people find it permissible. I think it just depends on what community you ask.

Exactly. So why are you arguing with me when I’m clearly pro-male. You always have to counter what I say with a response that sounds more like a debate to what I say.

Okay so what you would be describing is arguments, not just any random argument. That is quite obvious that I’d like an argumentative structure of beliefs in the form of literature or pure conversation.

I didn’t come here to see arguments I came to see explanations and learn, not everything from women is an attack and to view so is insecure.

if you actually cared about the rights of men then the outside view of men’s rights should matter to you, the minds of regular people and how they view men’s rights should matter to you, regular people should matter to you because it is through human interaction that these things will actually change. Education, information, literature all should be formatted in an order that will help people understand the atrocities that men face but yes you can try being bitter about it I’m sure that will wor…

I think if you had the ability to read context clues, you would find that my initial question was intended to answer where I should direct my interests: feminism or men’s rights. If these conversations educated people more on the damages of feminism, the actions of feminists and the dangers of them, you would have a lot more people on board but it seems to me that men’s rights is mostly made up of men degrading feminism and people that believe in feminism, instead of educating people on how we c…

Not at all am I a representative of feminism and not once did I claim to represent feminism. It should be obvious that I am an advocate for equality, and an advocate for change. Here I am merely expressing my interests as a humanitarian wanting to be educated on the stances of men’s rights. I have stated upfront that feminism is misandry manifest, did you skip that part? I am here to find a platform to learn. ignorance is bliss and you must be having the time of your life

If you’re not trying to turn me into a MRA why did you comment on the thread in the first place? If you ACTUALLY care about MRA wouldn’t allies (let alone female allies) have a positive outcome for this movement? Educating people on how one thing is bad while the other uses sound logic WITHOUT putting an entire group down is quite easy, I’ve been doing it throughout this thread.

Uhhh I never subscribed to a hate sub like ever, and I don’t remember trying to censor mens issues by pulling an emergency fire alarm. I think you’ve just shown me that females can be aggressively passionate just as much as men can, and I commend you because I understand that if you acted in the same way your consequences would be extremely different. But understand, I did not do this to you. Step down from your extremist views, I am a person trying to understand this movement and your response …

Omg yes! I understand this stance, so what is the appropriate response to feminism after this? Is it undoable, is it possible to get women that claim feminism to adhere to true intersectionality?

I like this response. You have truly changed my perspective by responding with sense and fact. Thank you for helping me understand. We have commonalities though many of the stoppages men face are unseen by feminism because it focuses on life through a female lens and not the lens of humanity.

So do you think there is a point of me being here? Or should I stop listening. Or is it that I should ditch feminism as a whole and focus on the men’s rights movement ? I’m interested.

I didn’t say that your response was anti feminist, I said the responses I’m getting in this thread are. I agree that modern feminism is damaging our society, I also would argue that the lack of education on feminism and its subcategories contributes to our constant miscommunications.

Being realistic is accepting that a lot of women want to hear men. But as seen on this thread it turns into an anti-feminist argument instead of an educational conversation.

I understand! Thank you for your warm response. Men’s hurt and passion translates differently to women, I think that’s where we get mixed up.

So when you have successfully turned me away from feminism will you provide me with the detailed information and literature to replace my interest in feminism with men’s rights or are you just anti-feminism
/r/MensRights07/10/23 04:10 PM

Okay and how does that answer my initial question or provide me with information and literature on men’s rights? Arguing with me about feminism isn’t going to turn me unwilling to be part of the men’s rights movement but it might do for other women. Did you think about that?

No, sorry I can’t trust you when you say it isn’t possible, because if it weren’t possible I wouldn’t be interested in the male end of societal conversation in the first place.

Hmmmm yes I thought so. Thank you for your response!

That is not true, feminist women care about men and it is feminist women who made me care about men! But not all women in the feminist movement are intelligent, it is truly dependent on WHO you are having the conversation with. Feminism is not rotten, there are so many concerns that need to be addressed by society but there are also concerns towards how men are treated. Like I said it is dependent on the individual and their understanding, otherwise we’re all caught in a vicious loop of combatin…

No it’s not like asking if there’s a commonality between the KKK and BLM (which if you ask a conspiracy theorist they probably would tell you that there IS a commonality between the two). It’s more complex than that definition just as anything is and if you take everything you interact with by it’s Oxford definition you’re removing the actual human experience and involvement in it. Feminism in general was INTENDED to create equality amongst the sexes, intersectional feminism focuses on marginali…

Well I don’t think it’s right to just give up. There has to be a mediate between the two or a place where we can listen to each other. Don’t give up, there are women that care!

Well going down the men’s rights rabbit hole has definitely opened my eyes to the evil of feminism. But do trust me when I say that there are women that advocate for men, especially with intersectional feminism. So there are some of us who want peace, there are some feminists that are misandrists, just as there are men’s rights advocates who want peace and men’s rights advocates who are misogynists!

Sorry I meant “here” as in identifying with the men’s rights movement not “here” in the subreddit. Don’t mean to bother you but this is a genuine question, why would this be a better discussion for the leftwing men advocate subreddit and not this one? I feel like women being on board with the men’s rights movement will do it some justice. And yes!!! I am new here thank you for welcoming me!

Interesting! I will check that out. And where do I put my interest for men’s rights? Am I “allowed” to be here or will there always be a problem with male x female etc. etc. conversation? Will I just be a “lefty male advocate”?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
