I haven't supported things like nagging or criticism anywhere. I spoke against that stuff above too. As for the picking after himself part, you spoke of accepting reality, but reality has countless examples of men who aren't slobs, or who do their fair share. So what now? I suppose we just agree to disagree.

I guess that's where we disagree. There are things that if said would serve no purpose in any way. But I'm not concerned with that here. What I'm talking about is if there's something you think about regarding a situation or thing, if there's something you'd like something to be, if you're in a situation where a thought is relevant, then I think it's better to just know how to say what's on your mind in an honest and civil way, rather than just keep your mouth shut. Life's too short for that, in…

I thought it could help rpw women in the sense that they could consider they shouldn't be with, or go for, those kinds of men in the first place. They could add to their vetting process. But I think I get what you're saying in that this stuff isn't useful for rpw women who are on the sub because they're staying in a situation where strategies provided on the sub work for fast results and the men they're living with.

I have a lot of examples from my family where men pick up after themselves and pull their weight around the house- as they should since they live in it too. I also have tidy buddies. There are obviously people like this I don't know as well, lol. At any rate, people who value cleanliness and organization do exist. People could even learn if they just tried. But yeah, there are people who apply order and discipline to several or all aspects of their lives. It's less about leaving, and more about …

Well, I think a person (man or woman) should be logical, a critical thinker, rational, and read up on philosophers like Marcus Aurelius, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Nietzsche (their meditations can help people who lack self awareness, a conscience, manners) before becoming a partner. But I'll probably be told that that's asking too much of people. But see that's just it. It seems like people are searching for quick fixes and/or easy entries (and think the outcomes would be the same to thorough a…

This just circles us back. I'm of the opinion, and I suggested this earlier, that just because you achieved something you wanted, doesn't mean the method or even the context of the outcome is good. There are ways to achieve all this in healthier and more beneficial ways. When things are approached in such ways, they have strong foundations, which in turn fosters growth and even sustainability. We clearly disagree on the value of stfu, and I doubt we'll change the other's mind, so I suppose we ou…

Well, being mindful before doing anything is definitely a good trait to possess. Good on you for developing it.

Yeah, nobody's calling people to mimick the seagulls from finding nemo. It's just about being properly equipped for proper dialogue, better/genuine relationships, etc.

Neither did I express a distaste for introspection, nor did I say one's mouth should operate perpetually. Perhaps give my comment(s) another or attentive read?

I agree nagging and criticising aren't healthy, and that people can mistake what being real means. It'd take more time than telling those women to stfu, but they really should get to know about proper communication. I just can't get behind the consequences otherwise, you know? But yeah, like you said in another comment, it'd be nice if everyone simply behaved better.

There's more to be gained from communication techniques other than stfu-ing and nagging. As for the minor issues, my contention is that people in relationships should be able to be real with each other or speak their minds. This doesn't automatically make them assholes or annoying- there's a difference between simply sharing that something makes more sense to do as opposed to saying you're fucking stupid, now do what I'm saying! I've sort of addressed this stuff in my responses to other comments…

"By protecting his ego, I encourage him to be open with me about his thoughts and feelings." It got your husband to speak out more, but that doesn't necessarily make the outcome good- as I suggested in my previous comment. A person is overtly sensitive if people have to walk on eggshells or avoid being real and direct with them. It's not a virtue, it's frankly mental weakness. The sensitive person would be better off learning not to take everything so personally. The idea is to not be an asshole…

Okay, but you should know that the opposite of stfu is not 'being negative'. A thing only becomes negative when the intention was negative and the way that thing was done was carried out negatively. Secondly, people can care about, and find happiness in, making others happy without standing behind others or putting themselves down in some way. Your relationship dynamic is obviously your choice, but it's good to know and remember. If a partner was to have a problem with this, then it'd be a faili…

STFU is not communication. And completely altering the original message, as well as having to sprinkle sugar on one's words to protect another's ego or the well-being of the relationship is not good either.

You raise fair points too. I understand things won't be exactly the same as our youthful days, and people can be born with complications that might make things harder later on. I don't want to be naive, just optimistic. Hey and if you're having knee pain after burpees and weight training, make sure you're practising good form, warming down with joint strengthening exercises and getting enough calcium and vitamin d- get supplements and drink turmeric milk. I've also heard heavy lifting isn't real…

Honestly, people just don't take care of themselves. And it just gets worse as they get older because they've convinced themselves it's just something that happens. I wish you could meet the older folks I know, they really take care of their health. Of course, we don't know what fate has in store for us, but generally, I think if more people just adopted better lifestyles from an early age or as soon as possible, we'd see less of the consequences that show up in later years.

You're ignoring the fact that there are individuals who's happiness doesn't rely on people, though- and there are such individuals. Moreover, the thing about friends being dead, you can make new ones. It's not difficult at all, and becomes even easier if you've got a good network, several hobbies, social skills, etc. And the last point about being busy, that might be true about some, but I don't see it where I am. Didn't see it as a kid either; my parents' friends all had kids and were always ha…

Although I agree with your face value comment, the reason I didn't elucidate further is because it seemed like common sense to me. Plus, I assume people will do their own research as I do. I'm going to use Utah's laws as an example. I quote them further below. So to start off, jurisdiction obviously matters. However, in general, you can't place surveillance cameras in private places, or areas where there is a clear expectation of privacy without the person's knowledge. So, even when considering …

I hope you let people know they're being filmed when they visit your place. Especially before you have sex, as that person would be nude. That's something people could press charges on.

I don’t think they mean their own laundry. I think they mean having to do it for others (Husband, family members).

But isn’t this everyone? Not even men love unconditionally. Otherwise, there would be no such thing as mgtow. We all only like those who do or say things that make us happy. We don’t like people who do or say things that we don’t prefer... There might be examples of men and women loving people who don’t bring anything to the table, or even more extreme examples like parents and partners loving murderous children or spouses, but those examples are not common.

Not to be that guy, but the same could be said about women- the way people here talk about them having a high or low smv. This is a little too hypocritical. Aren’t we meant to be logical? We should also be examples, or the way we want to be treated like or thought of as. I think we should all just treat everyone like human beings and just do what makes us happy (as long as it’s moral) without giving a shit. Whether that be going our own way or not. Let’s just do away with the hate and hypocrisy.

Isn’t this sorta hypocritical since Mgtow criticises women for being superficial?

Some want to see over traffic because they’re really short. Others think they just look nice. I knew a few who said trucks and jeeps are beautiful. Others like how it makes them feel- I suppose like Lara Croft or something. I think you’re reading too much into this (comments too). People like a specific type of car, they buy it. Some aspects of life are as simple as that. We don’t ask each other what our ‘agenda’ is when driving a specific car. There is no agenda. We drive it ‘cause we like our …

I’m not getting married either, but I will say it might be good for women to avoid marriage too. Considering that they don’t matter to us outside of their looks. Nobody actually cares about anyone.

Man, I have a feeling you’re gonna talk to me about exceptions, but I know women who were depressed for legitimate reasons and fixed it all on their own. No therapy, no use of emotional tampons. Who knows? Others might know similar women too. And I know men who made impulsive decisions, only to have their female family members say, “See?”, or “This is what happens when you don’t think things through.” I obviously have examples of the opposite too- so men being more self sufficient and rational, …

Can I say something though? And I’m not fighting, I’m gmow. It’s just there are some things I find myself trying to make sense of. I’ve seen mgtow posts and videos where women are berated for having emotions. There’s stuff about them being weaker because they show emotion. There’s also stuff about how their depression doesn’t count, or it’s stupid. I just want to know if other mgtows see the contradiction with this post here? Are we for emotion or not? Or is this a, ‘I can but you can’t’, sort o…

But women doing those things aren’t exceptions. I don’t know where you live where women literally don’t do shit- thereby pursuing selective equality, but I’ve moved around the world all my life where they’re actually competent in so much. I’ve even been in situations where they raised their eyebrows when I said somebody else should do a specific task- they did that because to them, it was easy. Also, you don’t need to say women to imply you’re talking about them. You don’t think of men when you …

Lmao that makes no sense. It’s a problem if they don’t do those things, and then it’s a problem if they do. And they’re not trans. They don’t even look manly. So many women have done stuff like this without being trans- it’s not rocket science or even physically demanding.

The women in my family change the water cooler bottles, know how to change tires, take care of the gardening and have dealt with burglaries on their own though. Just sayin.

Don’t know what to think sometimes, ‘cause I’ve seen women get shit on for being emotional, weak and useless by men. So it’s not a surprise that they’d think respect lies in being as much like us as they can be. To be honest, I think both genders should just have a balance of characteristics. Nothing’s good in extremes.

I definitely agree with there being hypocrisy involved if a woman complains about all men and then uses them for sure. But just to clarify, you wouldn’t consider a woman going to a computer repair store or garage as using men right? That’s just conducting business. The same way we wouldn’t be using women if we went to get our teeth checked and the dentist was a female. You just meant using men for favours right?

Not trying to fight so hold any “you’re a cuck comments” please, but I’ve noticed more and more people feeling like this in general. As in both men and women I know who are more on the rational side, and less tolerant of bullshit, are actually very comfortable with living their own little lives ‘cause they realise life’s too short to waste years on annoying people/assholes (that doesn’t mean they renounce any responsibilities though, say taking care of a difficult parent). And bullshit comes fro…
