I worked with a lot of women and breaking them out of a low agency mindset took some encouragement. How? I'm being enlightened in this in real-time. Great girl, but on occasions very emotionally dysregulated and takes no accountability for how her behaviour makes others feel. Her literal words "I'm not responsible for how you feel" with regards to her insinuating I was at fault for something she did, that caused her issues, that was outside of my control. I feel like im doing 80% of the emotiona…

Many years ago I was seeing this girl off tinder for a few weeks. One night she comes over and we do the beast with two backs. She leaves in the morning. The next day I see she's added me on Facebook, she's updated her relationship status to "in a relationship". It's another dude. No sweat off my back, I actually felt bad for this other guy, he's got photos of them together and everything, he's obviously been going at it with her for awhile. Anyway, few months later they're engaged. She's not th…

Super healthy view. Totally on board with you. It's easy to pretend to be masculine. But you see these guys quickly crumble when there's a little push back. As soon as it becomes a performance to gain something and not an authentic expression of who you identify as, it becomes extremely frustrating to keep the mask on and keep up appearances. Maintaining the mask feels like effort, and effort becomes investment, and unreciprocated investment causes resent. My learning has been to jsut be authent…

Break up with her if the closure helps you. It helped me to shut the door in a similar relationship. Psychologically it was like that 0.5% chance of her coming back was all I needed to stay in denial. I realised this was slowly eating me from the inside out, so I formalised the breakup. Nothing simpy or over the top, just enough to acknowledge our 5 years, her request for space, and that I wish her all the best. "This isn't goodbye forever, but we obviously need time a part, wishing you all the …

Maybe a controversial opinion, but.. Cold approaching is a fallacy sold by YouTubers and disillusioned women. Women don't like to be cold approached, they just like the idea of it. Watch how awkward they get, and on guard. They LIKE that it happened, but chances are due to being so on the defense by a stranger chatting them up they're going to walk away. You'll get way better success by having consistent interactions with the same girls. This allows you to build rapport, and get them familiar wi…

there was once a time where a woman truly could have saved me and brought me joy in life, but that time has already passed. Oh, shush. You’re overthinking. You’re a self-fulfilling prophecy—expecting to fail because you want to fail. Why? Because you’re more afraid of desiring success maybe failing than of never trying at all. But that’s a defeatist mindset. Stop overanalysing. Stop reading. Stop making excuses. Go talk to a girl. Be around them. Just exist in their space. Cut the whole “I could…

[a] girlfriend is more of an interchangeable placeholder with anyone who I form a mental, emotional and sexual bond with. I think as I've grown thats the biggest eye opening moment I've had. Accepting that people will come and go. Not everything lasts forever. However, not being pessimistic or bitter about heartbreak or love either, and simply enjoying the present moment with that particular person. I used to think love was fate, but I now feel you create your own fate. I no longer believe in a …

The title alone.. "You aren't attached to her. You're attached to how she made you feel." Really resonated with me. I fucked up and feeling the after effects of a situationship not panning out in my favour. This quote makes me feel right again. It's true, she is not something I won't ever find again, but in that moment, I liked the way she made me feel. And I think thats why when things end it sucks to know that particular person won't make you feel that way again. And it's validated by the sequ…

she will do all the work for you This x 100. She'll setup the shot, you just have to dunk it. If the interaction feels like pulling teeth, or the conversation is one sided, just move on. Don't try and sway a girls interest, it doesn't work like that. A girl that is into you will make it work, she'll inject herself into your space, she'll drop commitments to make time for you, she'll go along with any ideas you have.

Get good photos, and get a girl to pick your best ones. Not your mum. Or use https://www.photofeeler.com. (This is provided you've been working out, dress well, and look decent) It's literally night and day. I couldn't get any matches, scraping the bottom of the barrel. Using a photo a girl I was dating took of me which she said was extremely attractive it opened the flood gates.

This is assuming that hypergamy is always correct. It's not. Especially in the modern age, hypergamy can seem counterintuitive. But it's a biological trigger left over from earlier times when fucking the biggest and baddest dude was tantamount to survival and making the strongest babies, then finding the nicest dude with the most resources to raise them. There is no apparent advantage now to leaving your husband who makes $500k a year, but is a little soft, to go fuck the rough around the edges …

If you're talking about, what hobbies would help attract or interest women. It doesn't matter. Henry Cavill, perfect example. Extremely masculine, has nerdy hobbies and interests. His indifference to what people think of that counters the general perception of those hobbies, than if he were someone people more associated to those hobbies. The masculine/nerdy dynamic actually works in his favour. But I'd say its mostly irrelevant simply because he's aesthetically attractive and masculine. Exhibit…

The problem is most guys who attract girls have the perception of being an "alpha", but inevitably enter in to her frame and become beta over time. Offer her assurances, make her feel secure, "babe, there's no one else in the world for me". She gets the ick, yearns for the alpha guy again, and poor old mate is left clueless as to where he went wrong, he "have her everything she asked for". The sad truth is you really do need to act how you described. To keep hypergamy in check you have to mainta…

lol, we're getting downvoted. For those downvoting: Men put women on pedestals and women build up false illusions of men. Both to the detriment of themselves. There is nothing inherently false about that statement. I've experienced it, I've seen it. I know I've over invested in women in the past and I know I've been with women who thought I was something grander than I really was. It's just human nature.

As they say, women that want to be with you will do everything to make that possible. I don't think you did anything wrong. She just wasn't that into you at that moment, and thats ok. I just smiled again, said it's fine, and headed home. Thats a win from me dawwg. Talked to girl, asked girl for number, walked away with chin held high.

Demonstrating you can walk away is the secret sauce. Being able to march to the beat of your own drum fulfils part of the female fantasy women have of the ideal man.

Agreed, I've experienced it. Women fall in love with the fantasy (the idea of you). If you do anything to shatter the fantasy it'll come crashing down.

they want you to be their support system who will always be there for them, even when things get tough.. Nail on the head. Your support system should be other men. Join a sports club, build a close community, have something she has no reach into. For the reason that you have something that is uniquely yours and so that if she does leave, your support/friends remains with you.

And notice how if you talk about any of this outside the circle you're treated like you're talking about UFOs.

It's the paradox of women. They fall in love with who you are, inevitably force you to change, then fall out of love with who you've become. Fell for it twice. I think a wise prophet once said “There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.”

I disagree with this view to some extent. "Back in the day", as you mentioned, we lived in smaller communities. Generally, men weren't approaching strangers out of the blue. They were approaching the neighbours daughter, the daughter of the family friends, the girl they sat behind at school, the girl behind the counter at the dairy. They approached women they saw and spoke to every day. The proliferation of needing to cold-approach women comes from the fact most of us now live in mega cities whe…
