Ask the judge for a GAL, or search for one yourself and reach out. GAL is an attorney for minors for custodial concerns and represents the children directly and what is in the best intent of the children.

Single dad of 3 here, I know what you mean, every year when I have my kids Bday parties at places and the party organizer etc at the place comes to introduce themselves, they always go to my kids Aunt assuming she is the mom and doing the party.

In some cases yes, two people in my family have died before the age of 10 due to CF, so I was going by family history. But yes that have made huge improvement fighting CF
