You are right. And participating in activities where the genders mix is also key. BTW, my son is in the high school orchestra - he does quite well with the girls.

There was a study that showed that playing a musical instrument made a person more attractive to to the opposite sex.

Men will usually want a younger woman. Women prefer same age or slightly older, same height or taller. For LTR both men and women have some flexibility. However, almost all the couples that I know - the man and woman are of the same social class. Income is also about the same.

For long term relationships, most people - men and women - choose someone who is within their own social class, income range, and attractiveness level.

Question is why autistic females are not seen as being equally unattractive.

There are other ways to meet than by using a dating app or confronting a stranger in public. For instance, getting introduced by a mutual friend, meeting at work, doing activities together.

Agree... and men also tend to enjoy women who are fun to be around.

Actually, it is good advice and most men are able to discern a friendly smile to grandpa and a flirtatious one. The problem is that many men who frequent Reddit, and particularly this sub, cannot.

Even in Hollywood when you look at couples the woman is nearly always more attractive then the man.<< Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca.

Because many of the men who feel that way have no idea how to interact with women and when they attempt to do so tend to make women feel uncomfortable.

Usually a woman will signal that's she's interested. Look for signals.

She feels unhappy because hubby has become a fat, lazy slob who doesn't do his share of household chores and is as romantic as a stone.

In the animal kingdom usually one sex is more attractive (e.g., male lion is much more 'beautiful' than the female). In humans, the female is more attractive.

Agree with most of this..especially about being desired... but please allow for the notion that as you age the age range of what you consider attractive changes.

As someone who is in their 60's, I can tell you that the most beautiful women are in their 40's and even 50's. Also, outward beauty always fades but love only gets stronger if you pick the right lifetime partner. Most of the guys in this toxic sub are immature and simply cannot comprehend attractiveness beyond the superficial.

Most men are unattractive - but then again most men can greatly improve their attractiveness. .

You are correct. It can be confirmed by casual observation in a public place like a park or the DMV. Look around. You see couples of all shapes, sizes, and attractiveness.

Also, in China, there are many more males than females in the population, so females can be more demanding.

We care about looks but most men don't seem to care about how they look. There are some things you can't do anything about - short, balding, bad facial features -- but many things guys can change - get rid of that pot belly, take regular baths, skinny guys, hit the gym, creepy guys - show some confidence, lose the threatening vibes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/23 12:52 AM

Maybe she didn't want to get beaten up or found dead?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 09:14 PM

You find a group of people who share a common interest. You socialize with people in the group, both male and female. You enjoy yourself. Then, lo and behold, maybe you see that a person of the opposite sex is giving you signs that they are attracted to you. So, you say something like, are you busy Friday night? What's so difficult about that?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:50 PM

Here's the thing: let's say you are a "5" don't be going up to women who are 7-10. Try going up to a "4-6" and realize that there is much more to a relationship than looks. Find someone around your own level of attractiveness and who has similar interests.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:43 PM

Think of it from a female p.o.v. First of all, many women already are taken. They have a bf or are married or otherwise are not interested in dating anyone. Or they could be lesbian. Second, most men are not attractive. Some of it has to do with things that cannot be changed, such as being short, balding, or having bad facial features. But much of it has to do with things that men can change but won't, like very bad hygiene, poor fashion sense, bad posture, no muscles, having a huge belly, etc.,…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:35 PM

Many women have bf's or are married... so turn down even good-looking guys. Depending on age, it could be as high as 80% will turn down for this reason. Then most (85%) of guys are simply unattractive (lots of reasons, but some are: short, balding, poor hygiene, very bad fashion sense, huge belly, skinny, weak, bad facial features, loser job, live at home, etc.) or extremely creepy (low confidence, come off as threatening, etc.). Think of it from a female pov - very few eligible men exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:19 PM

Most men are unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 06:13 PM

Most men are not very attractive. That's the main problem.
