In fact, I think MRAs should boycott all cons and never show up to them. SJW hell holes, right? Avoid them all.

It is different in the episode, which is part of the point.

Cersei wasn't raped. For all you clueless people in here whining about how rape culture isn't real, this ^ is what it looks like.

Funny how misters will always, always side with the abusers. It's a nice little abusers' lobby you got in here.

That is the dumbest analogy I've seen in months.

Consent is not some binary choice you make when you go into a relationship or social encounter that lasts for X hours. Consent can be withdrawn regardless of how clueless this sub is.

Remember this thread the next time someone says rape culture isn't real.

Come on, this is not what we are about. No, it pretty much is what this sub is all about.

We are not deluded into thinking that we are better than anyone. You spend no time whatsoever actually trying to figure out if there's a point to the things that you dismiss out of hand despite the fact that people have debated these concepts—that you are all new to—for decades. Of course you think you're better than others. The STEM worship alone makes that clear when you shit on people with "worthless" degrees, and when you dismiss psychology studies and such just because they threaten your wo…

The next time someone asks me what a STEM brigade is, I'ma just link them to this thread. Good ol' intolerance of ambiguity and aversion to abstract thinking. Beep boop.

You might want to actually look up what a "troll" is, because you clearly don't know. Anyway, I don't know nor care why I'm not banned. I don't post in here very often (I think I have posted in like 3 different threads total in this sub), so I'm sure if I keep calling people out I'll get banned just like a lot of other AMR posters have been. I don't care either way.
/r/MensRights11/03/14 11:27 PM

The subs I frequent ban people for merely being annoying / assholes. I don't really have a problem with that. We don't, however, pretend we have an open sub where no one gets banned. It's fine if you want to just ban people for calling you out on your shit, but at least be honest about it.
/r/MensRights11/03/14 10:59 PM

I'm sympathetic to removing manhood academy crap, but it doesn't explain why many AMR posters are banned. What counts as "trolling" or "spamming" is pretty subjective, and it's extremely easy to just dismiss someone you don't like by using that excuse.

meh And here's another post where an admitted rapist generalizes the entirety of AMR. His post stands, but the post calling him out as an admitted rapist gets removed. Meanwhile, horribly misogynistic and terrible posts can stand on their own, but anyone actually calling him out on it would just get banned. It's odd, though, I thought MRAs wanting to close Planned Parenthood was just a terrible SNL strawman? In any case, and in other words, the rules are set up so that MRAs/libertarians can act …

mods here are very light on the banhammer. Not really. Ugh, I feel terrible just linking to anything "manhood academy" related. But I saw that and it's pretty much the point I'm making in this case. Tons of AMR posters have been banned for merely calling out nonsense.
/r/MensRights11/03/14 09:15 AM

We were invited to join the potato farm in the first place by your mods. Then when we do join, you misters get your panties in a bunch because we call you out on your shit, so you set up idiotic rules that are only there to protect MRAs. And, no, I've never even posted in there. It's a waste of time because it's just set up to let MRAs be assholes with impunity while all the sane voices get silenced and banned. Also, if you're going to defend censorship in a debate sub, how about you people shut…
/r/MensRights11/03/14 08:35 AM

But misters never censor anything. How can that be? It's almost as if you're a bunch of hypocrites.
/r/MensRights11/03/14 08:15 AM

as you can tell by the SJW-style censorship. As opposed to the potato farm, where no one ever censors anything.

The only time I actually hate you people is when you're being absolutely despicable, like here. The rest of the time, the cluelessness in here is an amusing aside that I poke fun of in the same way I might poke fun at young earth creationist. Men deserve a better movement than this crap.

A "troll", which has had its meaning warped by folks who don't understand the word, is someone who intentionally posts things just to provoke people. The people who I'm talking about are not trolls, they just pissed off the mods by posting actual statistics and other such things that MRAs are allergic to.

haha...yet /r/MensRights have banned a metric truckload of people for simply bringing facts into the sub. It's always funny when you whine about your frozen peaches when this sub is certainly no better.

Or, you know, they have, and folks here are severely struggling with self-reflection. This post will fall on deaf ears, as usual, but I'd love for the somewhat more reasonable members here to actually take to heart what's being said and taking an objective look at just how much anti-feminist/woman nonsense gets posted here constantly. You all upvote garbage all the time, so don't even try the "extremist" excuses.
/r/MensRights27/01/14 01:35 PM

I love you. This is the usual reaction most reasonable people have to being introduced to this sub, but it just goes over their heads.

Because "feminists" necessarily means "women". It consistently does to MRAs, yes—and vice versa as well.

I've never once seen any MRA reply to Futrelle with anything but 'poisoning the well'. If this is the best you can do, then you're pathetic.

Plenty of feminists have done things for men. It’s feminists who fought a long and recently successful battle to ensure that male victims are included in the FBI’s definition of rape. Some feminists are working to integrate the military so that the burden of war doesn’t just fall on men, and some are working against the militarism that not only enables rape in the armed forces, but underpins the narrow, confining cultural ideas about masculinity that make so many men feel trapped. Feminists have…

Well, I'm Norwegian, so it's a bit easier for me to read up on this. I did some research on Torild Skard (and I also emailed her about the article, but who knows if she'll respond), and I think it is fairly likely that the newspaper picked the most controversial views they could find on the issue. Torild Skard seems like a bit of a second-wave feminist when it comes to her opinions on gender essentialism, and she brings up biology and the "relationship between mothers and their infants in Africa…
/r/MensRights16/06/13 05:27 AM

I'm saying that it is the author that said that despite there being no direct quote of Torild Skard saying that at all. Nothing she said even hints at anything about women and caregiving. 'Omsorgserfaring' is indeed 'experience with care.'
/r/MensRights15/06/13 04:36 PM
2

She opionionate that we should rather utilize the women's experience as care-givers to build peace, mediation and conflict resolving work. This is the author's words, and it really doesn't reflect what the NKF woman is saying at all. The direct quotes of Torild Skald that are before and after that sentence make no mention whatsoever about women being natural caregivers or anything like that.
/r/MensRights15/06/13 04:18 PM

Browbeat all males for not "manning up." Yep, like calling men eunuchs and manginas. Hmm, wait, who was it that did that again...

The mental gymnastics of MRAs never cease to amaze me.
/r/MensRights20/05/13 11:32 AM

So you're saying you would rather have blatant sexism and ridiculous notions upvoted on this sub? Actually, yes, because then it's much harder for these assholes to try to dismiss the problems when everyone else points out what a piece of shit, hate-filled sub /r/MensRights is. Now they'll just try to excuse it away by saying it was obviously downvoted even here.

Do you have any examples of women keeping men as sex slaves for years? This seems like the sub to ask.
