None of these men are losers. They believe they are and by doing so it makes it real for them. See, the problem isn’t that someone is short or bald or whatever. Everyone deals with obstacles in life. The real problem is them constantly beating themselves up about these things and their perceived flaws. Sure, physically less attractive people do have a harder time meeting others, this applies to both men and women. But it ain’t some death sentence. But when you truly deep down you believe you are…

I don’t believe they are worthless human beings. But when I read their comments and posts they manage to convince me that they are worthless human beings.

Honestly any woman who has a PhD in Sucking Dick will blow you out of the water when it comes to getting men. But nice try anyway.

So they are indeed successful in meeting their objections.

What you think guys who feel sorry for themselves actually want to get a girlfriend? I don’t think that’s their objective at all.

Oh, didn’t know there was a law that didn’t allow men to complain. Can you please point me to the exact stature on the books and the related punishment?

Maybe true, but it is also true that men are entitled to feel sorry for themselves when they fall short of the criteria that women have for them. If men stopped feeling sorry for themselves magically, then nothing would actually change in their circumstances. They would still fall short of the high standards women have. So you will have men who are happy but still not romantically successful. So why should they give up the pleasure of feeling sorry for themselves? At least then they have one per…

Yeah, but you assume these men are actually interested in attracting women. They are not. I mean sure. They would love being attractive like most of us would like to be thin and fit. But almost no one likes actually losing weight because it involves depriving yourself of delicious foods and exercising when you’d rather sit on your couch with a hot chocolate. The same way men don’t actually want to become attractive to women because it involves grooming themselves and dressing in clothes that pri…

That’s not true. You are pathologizong them and making them think there is something wrong with them that they need to fix. As a matter of fact, self pity is a reflection of what is right when them. It shows that they have high standards, that they are not content with being average, that they value connecting with women and when they fall short of their high expectations; they naturally feel down about it. All of th se are normal human reactions.

There are a lot of good reasons for men to wallow in self pity. If all they have known is rejection and being ignored by women, it is appropriate for them to feel self pity. It shows that they are self aware and realistic instead of denying their flaws and coming off as delusional or overconfident. Self pity helps them get empathy from other people and show the world that they are not to blame for their circumstances. If men stopped wallowing in self pity, then they would lose a source of care a…

It’s not hook ups. It’s dating smartly and with a purpose. People are predictable and everyone wants what they can’t have. So if you show up as a guy who is ready for a committed relationship and wants only the serious stuff, then you are what every woman can get, and therefore no fun.

Interesting! But the it seems the one thing the victim doesn’t get is the thing that they really want! In our case that’s sex and love! But I guess getting empathy and understanding is a good enough trade off. I guess so much about MEN NEED SEX!!!!!! Whaaaa whaaaa

How does any of that help you get more dates? Because being a victim has never gotten me or any man that I know of laid.

Nothing anyone ever says will convince men that they are not actually as worthless as they make themselves appear to be.

I think you guys are conflating several different issues. You don’t have to do “hookups”. No one is forcing you to do anything against your will. However, if you want to be successful in the dating scene, you do have to learn to play the game. When I hear people talk about only wanting serious relationships, typically I see someone who is overly serious and sincere, who likes to discuss the deep and meaningful things in life, who doesn’t like to waste time and energy and wants to get to the seri…

Since when is ADHD neurodivergent? For fucks sake, some of us just can’t focus well, that doesn’t make us autistic.

It never ceases to amaze me the type of deranged stories PPD posters tell themselves.
