Thank you, I need to work on being more concise, I have always had that problem, but I didn't want her to think I was just spouting off at the mouth, I wanted to show her that I really had thought about these things and they really do affect us. You're right, there probably aren't that many men saying that, but it helps to acknowledge that there are a few bad apples in our bunch that really are just plain, uneducated assholes. And by acknowledging them and showing we don't agree with them, I was hoping to separate ourselves from them and show that their opinion is just their own and not something the movement endorses. It was all perfectly civil and I wish all my interactions with self-proclaimed feminists could be so nice.
