Jeez! This is what I did. New guy intros himself- “hi! I’m Joe Blow” I pretend to not know him and enthusiastically say - “nice to meet you!” Then he says something like - I’m the new guy … I drop my expression and say “oh! Another oneeee…” and I turn away 6 months later , ex has a new one. Only thing that makes me sad is the seemingly endless supply of pathetic guys happy to take up someone else family. Prolly all products of single moms 🤦‍♂️

If you’re truly grey rock - you would not be in contact with her boyfriend . Only communicate electronically with ex on essential things. My man , you are so close to the finish line .

Kk. In my case , I found me ex leaves me alone when she finds a new man … maybe gift her tinder gold or something 😜

Only a few years left. Look up grey rock - seems to me you both are high conflict If inclined, get son the car - maybe get son to have some skin in the game. If you do end up in court- always show judge and lawyers that you always and only have your kids interests as your priority- even if you don’t 😉

Look up - grey rock. You don’t have to speak to him at all. Only speak to ex- wife about things concerning the kid.

OP stop reading if you cannot handle the truth… Too late to worry about these things. You should have been thinking about these things before getting married. No point in worrying about these things as very soon she will file. She doesn’t respect you. Even now are simping. Rule is: cheating = divorce/breakup Get with lawyer and come up with game plan. Fight smart - only for important things. Go for 50/50. You are not ruining things for the kids. She did. Lean on friends and family. Be the best d…

It’s a common trick. Instead of hiding money - spend money and split costs with other party. Bring it up and judge will not be happy with her.

Lads- this is why you don’t marry single moms. You’re just a bridge to a destination. Sorry OP - I’m on the other side of the coin. The new guy seems a trade up compared to me. What new guy gets out of this, I have no idea! I suspect some day he will learn his lesson.

Whatever you do or don’t do - do not get caught up in DV. Best is to get her to leave or at least get emergency temporary orders to establish starting point and then live elsewhere

This amicable stuff is an unconscious move to keep you as a possibility if things don’t work out with new guy. Also to assuage guilt of knowing that they are doing a selfish thing to you and the kids.

Get lawyer to do emergency orders. Even if it doesn’t reach judge - her lawyer will advise her to allow access. Document all to show parental alienation

Wish I had this info. I’ll add : Let witnesses see that you are active in kids lives. You may need testimony. Get a lawyer to get emergency orders. This will lay the groundwork. Usually the man is forced out of the house - so this will help with abandonment issues when dealing with the courts.

You should’ve tried free mediation and agreed to items that you could accept. They go straight to judge for judgment. It’s been done millions of times and is just formulas and spreadsheets. Use lawyer for both things - but think long term and don’t waste $$$ on petty things. 👍

In English this means - beneficiaries specified on the website override what you put in the will
/r/Divorce_Men19/06/23 02:45 PM

Going through this myself. Not much you can do. Use the anger to better yourself , gym , career etc. these things don’t work long term. Kids can be brutal. You need to be the stable parent which the kids will appreciate as they get bigger. Don’t let the kids see your bitterness. In time, you will get your girl and create a new family. Finally don’t make kids your sole purpose in life.
