Men live quiet lives of desperation, as the old saying goes. I'm not saying it is either. I'm just saying right winged ideologues like Trump will always be a threat so long as there is enough isolated men. The caveat being though is that most women don't start dating assholes initially. Likewise though, same with the men. The relationship can start fine right up until she starts to control small things and now suddenly you need her permission to do things as simple as going out with your dad just to go play golf. Toxicity and resentment can easily form after a relationship has started. Just because things were good initially doesn't mean they will be.

I'll be honest and say I've never had issues being openly intimate in the sense that I can hug my male friends with no issues. (Maybe it's an early Millennial thing? I'm technically a millennial but I'm in that weird twilight period right before the zoomer cutoff point). My issue is that I'm lonely.
