Your mind is in a state of apathy because you are searching for something that isn't there. When we go seeking answers then we've accepted there is a problem. There is no purpose. You already have everything you need. Pause. Breathe. Notice the world singing to you. How red the color red is, how blue the sky is.

I think he was saying it's not a bad thing that most men don't accept that most women don't find them attractive, because a lot of them probably would do something antisocial or self-destructive if they did. i reread it and i think youre right Yep, that's life. I can't help but find it a source of unhappiness though. you cant change it but you can change how you react - if you value being sexually attractive put in the work or focus on other areas of your life which bring you happiness

Unless he specifically says they should, I wouldn't take it as an endorsement. hes basically saying its a good thing but whatever The issue is that I would like to be valued as a sexual entity, rather than being able to get sex because I can create value. you can - go lift... otherwise tough luck

He didn't say these men should just jump off bridges. he all but endorsed it But that's kind of the issue, unless you're one of the hot men, you're basically only ever going to be valued for what you do. i dont see the issue

exceptional is subjective you dont appraise a fish on its ability to climb trees

Its important to note that I did not say anything negative about mysticism itself. I merely pointed out that your understanding of it is surface level, poor, and sexist. Which I stand by. enlighten me You haven't asked any real questions. You are just pontificating stoner philosophy and superimposing that over a sexist world view as if that makes you "logical". this is a misleading reductionist argument and a complete deflection of my questions mystic philosophy, such as that found in Hinduism a…

CITATION NEEDED. What are you on about with this energy of the universe and women being attuned to it, but men are not, that is why men so rational? It sounds insane. many ideas seem insane at first until you start to explore them and this goes back to what i said earlier - there are some insights you can only discover through intense effort and focus, whether thats meditation yoga psychedelics and philosophy, what have you... in other words some things cant be taught if you dont Know Seriously,…

you are touching on the nonduality or innate subjectivity of things and i fully subscribe to that however at the end of the day everyone runs on emotion, even "unfeeling" psychopaths... the difference is we experience these emotions in varying magnitudes women are more intuitive - they are naturally connected to the intangible energy of the universe which is constantly in flux men are less in tune with this "energy" - our minds are not as reactionary to it... some would call this "rationality" -…

i believe looksmatch is a bit subjective, women weigh attraction differently than men

It makes me wonder about the emotional and sometimes downright irrational nature of women What does this mean? ill get back to you when i have more time but whats peculiar is that at the very moment i was reading your comment a female friend of mine was saying "yes girls are emotional and all over the place..."

i think physical/sexual attraction is based around your options and in todays age of interconnectivity women have more options than ever

This is my core disagreement because this is literally how I thought at fifteen. good for you This is a step away from calling others sheeple. but im not - define sheeple It's to assume there's something special about yourself that you can somehow possess these thoughts and "incites" and higher interests that most other people don't have or can't. define special and higher - people talk about whats on their minds and people seldom talk about this kind of stuff - its hardly mainstream Just becaus…

i like what you did although beyond a joke its pretty misleading also i concede that is, in fact, expressed by both genders but i want to know why largely more by men I think you just give too much credence to men spouting of pseudoscientific jargon to give the illusion that they know what they are doing, and you might be mistaking that ignorance for actual intellect and self actualization. its all jargon and illusion

You mentioned Maslow and then elsewhere in the thread said you weren't strictly referring to him and wanted people to respond to self-actualization as contextualized in your post. right - i mentioned him and then went on to further define what im looking for I'm not talking about reading a bunch of horoscopes, researching videos on witchcraft and psychology, and screaming "Yas queen!" in the mirror a bunch of times. I'm talking about sitting down and legitimately going," Whoa I did this wrong or…

You haven't actually defined anything, you're being conveniently vague and then acting like it's my job to define the concepts you brought up and want to talk about. i said self-actualization, provided maslow and dabrowski as examples and provided context to further illustrate the concept i was talking about If you want to call women shallow you're calling women shallow not me You should also be able to answer what you know about reality if you want to talk about it so much, instead of asking me…

You tell me what deep means because so far you've left it at talking about stuff "less shallow" than if there's a god, philosophical trip reports and self-reflection capabilities. Which apparently women don't have, even though you think they can have aspirations. They can think forward but not backward? What kind of mechanism prevents that? my point is that its all subjective, but ill admit that there is levels to this stuff and i reference that when i say "surface" level stuff - its akin to som…

Why are you singleing out women here? it has been my experience that, when entertained, these are largely male dominated things I don’t know many men bucking the status quo, fighting the power, raging against the machine or anything like that. not necessarily self-actualization but ok lets ignore all of history And deep convos about topics that are basically useless and indulgent navel gazing? i never said i was self-actualized but i wonder why this is a concept that largely passes women by You dont know what the fuck is self actualization, you must be a young dude who read some schopenhauer and is pissing of people about it, nobody give a shit about your expertise if your peer dont have an interest in that, maslow never saw the esteem needs (which what u need to fulfill to reach self actualization) as something u do individualisticly (lol for the typo), you need to gain the respect o…

yeah i pretty much agree with everything tvat you said and i agree self-actualization isn't a male thing, so i wonder why men are more prone towards it then women i strongly follow buddhism and have been venturing into hinduism and taoism as of lately and the concept of self-actualization would look the same regardless of gender, in my primitive understanding of it so far

Okay then you'd have to prove why they are wrong and you are right, and you'd also have to prove that he was acting out of anxiety instead of just as desire to lure and kill people, which he was able to do fairly successful which implies he was pretty self-actualizatied. you can't "prove" anything - i can use evidence to support my arguments but the very nature of what we are talking about is fleeting - its one of those things as Ram Dass puts it "if you know, then you know...and if you don't, t…

rich inner lives filled with desires, achievements, pursuits, aspirations, etc.... but in my experience questioning the nature of one's reality, and taking responsibility for one's karma hardly find their way on that list

Okay, you can correct me if I'm wrong. But it sounds like you're painting a picture of all women as a whole based on some shallow stuff, so it's hard not to assume you're kind of shallow, as well. It's such a ridiculous thing to assume about half the world's population. Just because someone doesn't want to wax poetic with you or get all deep about the universe doesn't mean they don't have a rich inner life and think about things. The assumption otherwise just sounds very immature, like when I wa…

...as defined by Maslow. and this is the part everyone keeps getting stuck on - i didnt say explicitly his definition of it perhaps if you'd tackle the word as defined through the context of my post we could get somewhere
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/20 01:36 AM
1

in a way you are right, but i made a mistake of referencing Maslow's hierarchy because people seem to be explicitly stuck on his theory when, in reality, Dabrowski's Theory of Positive Disintegration aligns more with what I'm talking about
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 10:49 PM
1

you get it i still wonder why though - why doe this seem to be a male dominated thing... my thinking is due to years of oppression, it can be difficult to challenge society's views when half of the population could be seen as dangerous

Because it's a nerdy question. It can be nice to get philosophical on psychedelics but have you ever watched those conversations from the outside? It's a lot of fucking self-inflating nonsense and it's not a whole lot of fun. Nobody wants to be lectured at by some incoherent, pseudo-deep goof regurgitating lines from philosophers he's never actually read and spouting secondhand incites that he never had. It's boring. Okay and? You say this as if being morally good is the only way for a person to be "self-actualizatied" this seems to be another flaw in your definition. Ted Bundy could be considered a person who was achieving self-actualization, even though his goals ran in opposition to moral and legal framework. this is problematic to me as i believe true actualization tends to steer people towards oneness some schools of thought may agree, but i don't believe ted bundy was actually self realized - he was ac…

not necessarily - anyone at any time can ponder about the nature of their reality and look inside Most people are lucky to fulfill the bottom 3 rungs of Maslow's hierarchy. this doesn't answer my question - im curious as to why self-actualization seems like a male-oriented concept; we are all human after all Edit: Your post doesn't seem to have much to do with self-actualization, it's just another rehashing of "y woman no take responsibility" while responsibility does play an important part of s…

I'm sorry, I guess I missed the rap songs where they talk about their amazing dick and also their nobel peace prize. hahahaha what is your point? So then Slob my Knob shows men's true value is their dick I guess. no it doesnt - its not a song about value, WAP actually has the lyric "i dont cook, i dont clean, but let me tell you how i got this ring" What I'm reading is women need to stock up on guns. or moreso that they'd have to rely on things other than sex to provide value to the world

perhaps its because i understand there's an innate level of subjectivity to everything so the concept of 'value' seems arbitrary to me maybe im feeling a little salty because i was written off as "low value" by someone just because i make less money than them. i make decent money, enough to spend it comfortably and still build a savings but i believe the fact that im not chasing numbers and wanting to be some great entrepeneur is a big turn off to a lot of the women around here (i live in LA)

less likely, as creepiness is largely determined by how you present yourself EDIT: to further flesh this out - there's a difference between real confidence and the cockiness that comes from insecurity - women can sniff out the latter like a goddamn bloodhound so it will come off as creepy as an example, in my early days, i used to work at this fast food joint, and one of the managers there was this tall overweight guy. not physically attractive by any means of the imagination save for his height…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 02:18 AM

there's a nonduality to it, most of what people say here is actually true, whether it contradicts something or not - that's just the nature of humanity, it's so nuanced and dynamic that once you think you have a grasp on it, it slips right out of your hands. so in a way, it's pills all the way down, but everything is not so black and white (or red and blue), there are always exceptions
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/20 07:47 AM

You're drawing tons of unfounded conclusions from people's dynamic preferences. Also I never said it's one way or the other, as a matter of fact in my original post, I literally point out that the error is in split-thinking aka BLACK AND WHITE thinking.

The whole women just want to have rough sex is one of TRP's overexaggerations/split-thoughts. Don't get me wrong it can be an eye opener to learn most of them are into that stuff at all. But shit like tantric sex and women who are strictly doms exist. Women enjoy slow passionate sex just as much as we enjoy when a woman takes control and starts riding us.

Dude its unreal. I have to quit Tinder because its killing my confidence. At work, I am one of the most attractive people and Im in an industry where the bar is higher than average - its a real eye opener to have people blatantly sexualize you, flirt with you, or just plain catch them staring all the time. On Tinder I get a few matches a day and have to be super witty for these low effort girls who I KNOW would be too god damn nervous to even talk let alone shit test that hard.

If there were a deep control from the subconscious it can still be recognized and worked on / eliminated. Silly man - there is no such thing as controlling your unconscious mind. Even your tendency to fight your nature...is in your nature.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/19 05:54 PM

We're talking about being controlled. If you don't believe we have agency or free will then we could be slaves to (i.e. controlled by) our unconscious mind. I spend a great deal thinking about these things and have been working on my own theories - thus more to talk about.

Adding a note on meditation here from a zen buddhist perspective... Mindfulness based meditation is all about awareness, I agree. However, the ironic, and some would even suggest mystical, thing about it is change occurs only when you are bringing a nonjudgemental awareness to your thought patterns and feelings. Unpopular opinion here and maybe what you're looking for. As someone who's driven for Lyft for almost a year in a tourist heavy city, I can firmly say that most women travel for the same exact reasons men do. Thing is... most guys have tried that already. I actually don't believe most guys have tried legitimate open communication. I constantly promoted "communication" in the past as well, but the reality is that I was far too defensive. Saw everything in a logical, right or wrong way instead of just trying to genuinely work out the issue and do what's best for the relationship. A HUGE part of sincere communication is being open to understanding the other person. A lot of times the subject that women …

Maybe you tried them with the wrong women. Also I never said there was anything sexy about working problems out with your partner. And people keep assuming the attraction has already been lost in our hyperthetical scenario.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/18 02:01 AM
1

I agree with most of what you say but it is a bit overblown. It's not as bad as our bitter brothers would have you believe. There are emotionally mature women out there being held accountable for their actions. Your example is anecdotal amd not representative of most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/18 01:17 AM
3

How can you blame any of this on female nature when your ex was clearly just a strung out pill head?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/18 01:14 AM
1

My point is where does she just randomly lose attraction one day if a) she is actually into you b) the sex is good and c) you guys work out any issues through communication? Maybe the whole thing seems confusing because its hard for TRPers to grasp that some women are into more affection, cooperation, etc - beta traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 03:19 PM
1

Yes. And it was because I put on about 30 lbs. At no point did my girl talk to me about how she was losing attraction to me - probably because she knew I was insecure at the time. I couldn't have discussions without taking things personally. It could have gone a different direction had it been a healthy relationship where both parties are open to communication and she would have been able to approach me about something like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 05:40 AM
2

That's a loaded question. I don't believe a girl who's genuinely into you is going to just decide she doesn't like your personality one day - especially if you're killing it in the bedroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 05:35 AM
1

It is just not worth to as a beta I think we can all agree that alpha/beta is more of a spectrum. Assuming you meant 'someone who's lost attraction' instead then I agree. Does people here do not understand freedom of choice and consequences? Can you elaborate? You can improve your value, by communication but you cannot diminish a woman's greed for more. Sorry to hear about your examples. There are women who I've witnessed first hand be open to communication and work out their problems. Not all w…

Elaborate what these factors are and how communication couldn't help a healthy relationship move past them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 04:37 AM

Is your argument that most relationships end due to a loss in attraction? If it's that you can't negotiate attraction, I'd agree, however as mentioned before if you are open to communication you can work things out before they even get to that point.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 04:35 AM
1

If she's geniuinely attracted to you and your personality why not? Remember I didn't say become a doormat.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 04:25 AM
4

I don't get your point. You enter relationships where your partner is open to communication while being open yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 03:55 AM
0

Once again there's hardly ever a single event that will change her perception. If she thinks she can do better she'll typically feel that she is lacking in some area. This is something that healthy relationships discuss.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 03:52 AM
1

And why do you think that is?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 03:49 AM
2

I don't disagree with you. I didn't suggest more relationships would work if men would become doormats. Being open to communication and willing to take responsibility would.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 03:45 AM
0

True - one of the positives coming out if TRP is definitely not allowing yourself to be walked over. However let me say this and this might be a little naive of me, if you truly slay it in the bedroom it doesn't matter how beta you are (outside of it). Women love when they find someone who understands their body and can make them come.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 03:41 AM

They are two sides of the same three scenarios. Also I will edit the post to clarify but I'll make it clear here too - both parties have to be open to communication. So in the first scenario if the woman was in a healthy relationship with open communication she should be able to discuss her dying attraction with her partner. If he can swallow his pride enough to work on himself - problem solved. Second scenario and I am speaking from experience here. I discussed with my gf my insecurities and sh…

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 03:05 AM

I would actually agree with everything that you're saying however women don't just up and lose attraction for their partner out of nowhere. If two (healthy) people are genuinely attracted to each other and build an emotional bond they aren't going to just decide one day they aren't feeling it anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 03:01 AM
1

Sure people put up with a lot if they feel emotionally bonded - but even this is not enough if there is a lack of communication. Example - codependent relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 02:32 AM
1

There's a difference between her teasing you and bringing a genuine concern to you. If she's happier overall - you must be doing something right - but I guarantee it's not the fact that you aren't communicating. Also, there are guys out there deluded by the fact that just because she's enthusiastically fucking you means she's happy with you. Especially with plate spinning. Maybe you just got bomb dick. In a relationship, unresolved resentment almost always rears it's ugly head.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/18 02:31 AM

Currently learning this the hard way. You're right - it's insidious how they seduce you with thoughts of them 'not being like other girls' while simultaneously poisoning your mind with lies and gaslighting. /r/PurplePillDebate07/08/18 05:13 AM
1

I agree with everything you're saying - I just know that it could start off innocently and then turn into a slippery slope and I want to believe that my partner would be mindful enough to avoid putting herself in such situations even moreso than recognizing the signs while she's already there but its tough. However reading all the examples certainly is reassuring even if I feel quite contrarian about it.

No but I believe that's largely in part to my dedication to Buddhism, mindfulness, and meditation. Most people aren't into that and I sincerely believe that with a lack of mindfulness most people are largely unaware of just how much they are being controlled by their feelings in any given moment even if on a minute scale. I don't understand though - are you being sarcastic or is this acquiescence? EDIT: No - for the most part* Noone's got that level of control except legitimate monks.

I feel a bit reassured by my enthusiasm in making her orgasm during foreplay (I enjoy it) and it happens during PIV as well - however given her past and high libido I do get insecure thoughts about her going outside of us when I can't see her at times. Because there's a higher branch that seems to be just a bit stronger - Dr. Grey approaches you out of nowhere to discuss "why business outings like this are so boring" you just turn him down? Or what if Dr. Grey seems to smile just a little bit longer than usual at you while at work?

And I agree that they would crave a sense of normalcy but TRP says that typically after they obtain it they get bored, missing the excitement of the past. Also what would you consider self sabotaging? To be honest, at this point I feel I may have deluded myself. I already caught her deleting text messages which she got defensive over including gaslighting me but became sorry after once she realized she had been caught - a major red flag of course - but she swears she didn't want me to be suspici…

I totally believe you feel the way that you do however TRP claims that women often use emotional thinking - so while you actively feel that things are great now they could potentially change if say some other guy with a significantly higher SMV shows interest in you and gives you the tingles. Then once the feelings are gone maybe you'd convince yourself it was never there. What stops you from branch swinging - especially if it conveniently happens during a not so great time with your SO? I don't…

But TRP says hypergamy and women's dual sexual strategy doesn't care whether or not they want to go back.

I'll agree that there is no tangible proof of it's success rate however, people are more likely to complain when things are going badly than gloat when they're going well (regarding forums/reviews/questionaires) so yes... I do believe people would report back just as the same as on r/relationships.

Agreed although try again after she has made it blatantly obvious that she's down. Even in your situation #2 if withdrawing didn't make her want you already it's not gonna happen.

You're right. RPW and MRP are dealing with two different issues. Which brings me back to I do not believe MRP is as effective at identifying issues as you’re claiming. and But you’re only hearing the man’s side. Of course he is claiming is doing everything for her and she’s the meanest meanie from mean town. We can speculate what's actually happening given both sides all we want but fundamentally MRP has improved many marriages so they must be identifying something correctly.

I don't understand your point. a lot of what i dealt with on RPW was women findingn their way to me who had men who gave too little comfort rather than too much I gathered from this that even women would agree so it's unlikely the men are lying.

They literally just spoke about getting women's perspective on RPW.

Not even start over if you think you have a chance. If she hasn't made if pretty obvious by this point (after withdrawing all sexual contact) I'm confident TRP advocates exiting the situation.

This is such a crock of shit. One of the biggest pills I had to swallow was the difference between attraction and affection. This was a great post on the matter, and the top comment is an eye-opener as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/33qtd4/never_show_weakness_she_is_not_on_your_side/

Strawman - but I'll bite. It is no surprise to TRP that even a woman with "no value" has more value than a man of similar quality.

I'd like to propose that schools and work are where you'd be meeting most of your friends and in doing so say that the issue isn't so much religion as much as it is technology, and the league of instant-gratification brought along with it.

Technology In a world full of instant-gratification and overstimulation you no longer "need" other people. Its all quite superficial nowadays. Curiously enough, I've cut out porn, weed, social media, and created a new reddit account strictly for improvement/production and I find myself talking to more people simply because it's actually interesting again.

Yeah, isn't the argument that virgins have unfulfilling sex because it is with a beta?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/18 05:23 PM

Wait - so is your argument that betabux can't perform well in the bedroom? Or is it that its impossible to enjoy sex with someone you're not that physically attracted to? Speaking from the perspective of an average guy, I've had sex with girls who I got vibes weren't that physically attracted to me, but once my head was in between their legs they lost their minds - you can't fake wetness.

Only because men have been lazy and entitled since the appearance of the first homo sapiens sapiens. Instead of working on themselves to be considered attractive by the women they wanted to mate with, they would enslave women and use them as breeding cows, and to this day you still see how it is. What are you talking about? Do you have any sources to back this claim up? I'm pretty confident the first men were focused on survival - how can we speak of attraction in any context when this was befor…

But as I get hotter and financially more successful You're experiencing a new, profound level of attraction and I believe that would make you more inclined to act on it.

I think we're kinda missing the point - this is just another iteration of women only date up focusing on post-wall women.
