Missouri Passes Equalizing Child-custody LawI think that when you're leveling the playing field by starting out with joint custody and then looking at factors to disqualify a parent from getting their 50%, being willfully unemployed and not providing financial support to the child(ren) might be big gotcha. | /r/MensRights | 31/07/16 05:45 PM
Missouri Passes Equalizing Child-custody LawWhat I imagine they'll do is look at both parents income, determine a monthly child maintenance amount based off both monthly (or yearly) combined incomes and then assign a percentage to each parent and give the difference to the parent with the smaller percentage to equal out the percentages, e.g. $1000 a month child maintenance, 60% responsibility for parent A, 40% responsibility for Parent B. Parent A would be responsible for $600 and Parent B $400, Parent A would be required to give Parent B… | /r/MensRights | 31/07/16 03:54 PM

Two great women trying to bring mens rights to Alabama.but the difference in outcomes when fathers have attorneys versus appearing pro se is huge. Even if they don't "win", it can be the difference between some parenting time versus none or child support being reasonable vs crippling. | 0 | Two great women trying to bring mens rights to Alabama.I don't have any reason to doubt your intent to help men and support fathers rights, however, offering a discount if the client is lower income doesn't advance men's/fathers rights. In regards to the outfit I was referring to, the Portland branch is an all male cast of Attorney's, as men, they likely at least are some what concerned about men's/fathers rights as well. | 2 | Women's "Equality" MonthI don't have a particular issue with there being a room where people can lay down either. At my previous employer, MUCH larger company, we had a nurses station with an on site nurse that had a couple of cots and various other first aid type things in the room. However, if you're going into these rooms regularly you're doing it at the companies expense and if you're doing it at the companies expense then you're doing it at my expense and everyone else's. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/14 04:51 AM
Women's "Equality" MonthI have no idea. I'm not paid to monitor the special room and there's now way to tell if someone is in there other than to knock. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/14 04:38 AM
Women's "Equality" MonthNo I'm not kidding you. I supposed it's possible that a man could use it if they we're feeling faint or dizzy or something but to the best of my knowledge, out of the 10 years that I've been employed there, no man ever has. One of my male co-workers was delirious from accidentally taking his wife's medication rather than his own and they had him sitting up in a chair in a conference room until someone could get him to the hospital. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/14 12:58 AM
Women's "Equality" MonthWhere I work, there is a special room with a cot for women to lay down if they're having a rough cycle. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/14 12:40 AM
I'm the guy from the cross post on domestic violenceUnless there is a court order stating otherwise he, as the child's father, is free the leave the state with the child at anytime. With a little forethought and planning he could be on the ground in Seattle, WA. or Portland, OR. and in contact with a local domestic violence shelter and the local authorities before "the lot lizard" noticed them gone. I'd recommend Portland, as it's on the Oregon/Washington border. If he can't get the assistance he seeks in Portland then he can go to Vancouver, WA.… | /r/MensRights | 09/08/14 05:09 PM

I'm the guy from the cross post on domestic violenceClose your bank account as soon as possible. Empty it of all funds sooner. Open a new account when you can. Talk with your payroll dept and end any auto deposit now. Don't pay any of your old bills. SAVE ANY MONEY YOU CAN! MOVE THE FUCK OUT OF ALASKA!!!! Oregon and Washington are nice. | /r/MensRights | 09/08/14 03:37 AM
xpost from /r/domestic violence I couldnt imagine staying with a woman that could do that to meI agree, courage isn't staying. What he lacks is the courage to leave. | /r/MensRights | 09/08/14 03:17 AM
xpost from /r/domestic violence I couldnt imagine staying with a woman that could do that to meI don't think it's stupidity, I think in this case it's low self worth and low self esteem. He needs encouragement to get out and fix himself for himself and his kid(s). His wife is lost and he needs to make her part of his past. | /r/MensRights | 09/08/14 02:12 AM

Woman schemes with another man to have her ex put in prison, for rape. That man is in jail, she is not.Slightly more update source: http://www.abqjournal.com/431908/news/framed-exboyfriend-for-brutal-assault.html Chavez was charged with four counts of tampering with evidence, as was 38-year-old Ronald Duncan, the man who allegedly helped her come up with the plan. | 1 | Something to remember in light of the Hobby Lobby ruling: The ACA requires employers to provide birth control services ONLY to women. Vasectomy is specifically excluded. Can you provide a source that states men cannot get condoms? | /r/MensRights | 05/07/14 08:11 AM
My ex wife is currently $32000 behind on her court ordered child support. Local enforcement office says "there's nothing we can do"Or no wages and is living off of someone else. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/14 11:01 PM
My ex wife is currently $32000 behind on her court ordered child support. Local enforcement office says "there's nothing we can do"Her wages can be garnished up to 50% because she owes back child support through state support enforcement. A civil suit wouldn't be beneficial. Nether a civil or support enforcement can garnish non-existent wages. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/14 09:03 PM
Do men really make much more than women for the same job?Even unskilled male labourers in mining & manufacture earn more than skilled female workers in childcare. Yeah let's compare those two jobs; Mining: Work hundreds of feet underground, work with heavy machinery and explosives, breath in coal dust all day or possibly various other toxins. Child Daycare: Care for and entertain Pre-schoolers. | /r/MensRights | 11/03/14 02:38 PM

Think I may have fucked up my life, what can I do in this situation?I'm assuming your home has more than one bed room, find a room mate or room mates to occupy the other bedroom(s). It may suck but it's better than losing the equity you have in your home. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/13 05:01 AM
Defeated. (Child custody, court, etc.)$300 is nothing my friend, I'm at over $7k in lawyers fees since May of this year. The cards are stacked against you being that you were born male but don't give up. I think you need to shop around for for another attorney. Good luck! | /r/MensRights | 21/11/13 06:20 AM
