Wtf is TeaForWomen.com?! Is it a service for creating profiles of men that women collaborate on? Excuse my ignorance.

So true. I subscribe to some subreddits that I have significant interest in BECAUSE of the content being contrary to a few of my beliefs/parts of my worldview. It’s healthy to have some quality pushback in various areas of our lives, and it all starts in the mind

Right? When did it become bad faith by simply disagreeing? My wife and I have been married for sixteen years and are often struck by the reality that she and I can disagree on all sorts of things and STILL neither of us will be wrong. Not for everything we disagree on, but plenty of them

In the words of Ron Swanson, “I’m surrounded by a lot of women in this department. And that includes the men.” 🤣

Agreed. I definitely understand having to curb certain things from a “liability standpoint” (not that it’s even the best reason: like for calls for organized violence/terror, whether physically real or just digital harassment. As in, if people were saying “let’s go burn down the statehouse” or “everyone help me find OPs personal information so we can try to get them fired.”

10000% The other thing that blows my mind in this case is that it’s /r/interestingasfuck and not some haven of disadvantaged individuals 🙄

It’s wild cause they could have a bot scrape through all my comments for key words and see if I’m spreading hate instead of a blanket “you’re associated with blank subreddit, so you are going to be locked out of club.”

You sound like me after I’ve prayed that I caught all my typos 🤣 Well done 👍🏻

You have excellent points, and I’d encourage you to go through to correct the typos as they became a little distracting in spite of your logical approach. To be clear, I mention the typos not as put-down/insult, just that taking care of those why help mitigate criticism of your argument 😇

Absolutely agree! I’m totally exhausted by the current feminist movement, AND my executive business mentor is a female and a minority! She’s incredible in every way, and her being a minority woman is just an aside. Additionally, of all the dynamic leaders in my industry, the one I admire most is an 80 year old white Christian woman from Oklahoma! Im a c-level executive and desire to model this woman’s impact on our company and the industry as a whole. I’m a 33 white male, for the record.

But women have 100% of the abortions or births, and men have 0% The difference is much greater then just comparing the two equally

I've always thought she was pathetic, and that's a good word to describe her. Honestly, I've always pitied her cause she is not funny and not beautiful, meanwhile trying to be both and sexism is the only thing that kept her around.

Holy crap. This blows my mind. I am 6'2 200lbs and my wife is a tiny little lady, so I struggle to fathom the idea of abuse from her. Are there good resources you could point me towards to read more about this, mainly for education to notice if and of my buddies are going through this and how I can be a support if need be. Any tips welcomed

So true. Also, to be honest, I grew up as "the skinny white kid," never really able to defend myself, and just recently in the last two years (now 25) have filled out, starting going to the gym and actually bulking up. I feel so much more secure and able to "handle" myself in a "situation," to the point where I was paid a HUGE compliment the other day where a well built friend said he wouldn't ever want to fight me. Talk about a pride-boner! Haha. Guys typically wanna be heros and to be able to …

Great point. Imma look up my laws now that I am thinking of it. The reality is that if I see someone truly committing a felony in my presence they're gonna experience some "law 'n order" if you know what I mean

Poor old guy. Not sure about anyone else, but if I saw a little old guy in that type of situation I would slap the shit out his "opponent."
