Film everything and save it in the cloud. There will probably come a time when you’ll need it as evidence or to show that you are not the abuser

Turns out she’s not your ride or die woman

If she got the television in the separation. You both decided to buy it for the family. Does she also expect you to pay for repairs of that?
/r/Divorce_Men07/06/26 11:40 AM

Could it be she is so kind and civil because she knows she has a lot to lose if things are handled via the regular legal way? Don’t sell yourself short my man

Own your mistakes towards your wife and children. Take responsibility for your actions. Learn from this period and the choices that lead you there. Rebuild your life

Fuck this hits hard given how it reminds me of the situation I’ve been in these last few years

Hit the sauna or take long walks in nature

You are not a dickhead for not wanting another baby. That is your rightful choice to make. If that is all it takes for her to leave you, than something else was wrong in the basis

You lost your wife, but don’t lose your self respect by waiting untill she is done sleeping around. The sooner you start grieving and healing the better

This hits hard brother. All too recognizable

The most important thing is that you haven’t become damaged and bitter in your views of men and life in general and don’t treat dating like something transactional

Would you like to have been told or remain ignorant?

Think of your children first. How would you live with yourself if she would indeed hurt them? Document everything and head for the hills

You don’t have to be considerate anymore. Her needs and wants are not your concern anymore. Do what is good for you.

Wouldn’t it have been better for you and your energy to just cut the losses for that ticket and let it be your son and you or maybe a good buddy of yours/his?

Doesn’t excuse her shitty deed, but what you’re saying sounds like a recipe for disaster and resentment for the partner involved unless you open up te marriage or are of the same persuasion
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/26 08:10 AM

She is the GFE experience of what Ice-T rapped about https://youtu.be/apvZVqmJL5E?si=-KHQ_CRhMpwsu4rg

Does she have adhd? Some of the lesser known things is that this can lead to emotion dysregulation (and poor impulse control) Still no excuse though for being mean

A good playlist with songs that hit hard always helps me

Reading your story I am really sorry, but it looks like she probably wants not you, but the kid and your financial support.
/r/Divorce_Men26/01/26 09:49 PM

Could it be that she is neurodivergent (like ad(h)d) It sounds kind of familiar to be honest
/r/Divorce_Men22/01/26 06:56 PM

Unless she’s got a restraining order against you, go live in your house and see your kids
/r/Divorce_Men16/01/26 12:27 PM

If you have personal items you treasure, don’t stay away from the house of take them out of the house

First, there is never an excuse for cheating. So don’t be to hard on yourself. Just out of curiosity because of what you said. Have you ever been tested if perhaps you got (some form of) adhd? Some people who are diagnosed in adulthood really benefit from medication

At least you now know you have at least one person who’ll stick by your side when things get rough. Just remember that, although they are a big part of your life and sometimes purpose, you are not your possessions, or your job, or even your family/marriage.

Perhaps I’m old fashioned, but fuck her for cheating on her husband/family and fuck you for being the affair partner and cheating on your wife.

They don’t want to be away from their kids, but coming home to a stressful hell of bickering or uncomfortable silence after your stressful workday takes some resilience

Sounds like you weren’t ready for marriage in the first place

Don’t let ending up alone hold you back before considering if alone is really worse than being with your wife

“I would have been able to shake his hand if that had been all you did with him during our marriage. I’ve moved on. That’s not the same as forgiveness”

You might lose, but you want to be able to show your kids how hard you fought for them to be their present father

From the image you’re painting thinking about divorce doesn’t sound unreasonable. Have you tried talking to her about these issues? Divorce should be a last resort after everything else failed

If you are a drinker, stop drinking. In your free time go for long walks in nature. Although you feel like staying in bed, get up and take care of yourself even if it feels like a huge task. Find a reason to get out of bed in the form of friends, family, charity work, hobbies etc). Try to discover who you are on your own before deciding you can’t make it alone

First thing she probably did was sleep with half of Tinder. After finding out that is just an app for fun and not for relationships she figured out her options aren’t as good as she believed

You need money to get your own place. You need your own place to create a life for yourself, mental stability for yourself and stability for your kids.

Get a lawyer. Don’t agree or sign anything without consulting a lawyer. If you were the sahp it is likely that you’re entitled to support from her.

Start martial arts, the physical exercise will help you with your stress and the brotherhood at a good school is nice. Extra bonus, you’ll get a great physique

Cutting contact with kids who called you dad and put their faith and trust in you by your own choice doesn’t make you sound like the good guy in my book

File for divorce and sell the house? Selling is always better than foreclosure I’d say

Even if he was, she could have given him the courtesy of divorcing him and left him before fucking another person.

Don’t go to the Netherlands…. But truth be told, just own it. Work with wat you’ve got. Be the funny, don’t give a fuck, confident little guy and you’ll be successful enough. Perhaps not on the dating apps, but you’ll do fine in the local watering hole

As I’ve noticed most therapists are women. I’d like talking to a man about my problems as a man

Odds are she was already pregnant from an other dude after a drunken night who is unknown. Could it be she wants you to pay for this earlier mistake?

I thought clowns liked balloons To say something like this, in this day and age. You think that that healthy cutie that you picked up doesn’t sleep with other men because she looks innocent? Grow up

Never: - Tell a prostitute your name - tell her where you live - take her to your place - ask her why she is doing that work - try to help - get attached - go down on her - do her without condom - see it as anything other than a transaction - assume you’re different than her other clients
