I dont know how its in Serbia, but i guess compared to Germany, there arent as many highschool / university graduates. The women may percieve those irresponsible men as more manly compared to their 'educated' counterparts because they dont give a damn, which probably flaws the decision making of many women. But well, i dont expect logical reasoning from women.

Even though they can be a firefighter, i think its not just about the physical power. Imagine running into a blazing building where everything falls apart, nothing is visible etc.. Sexual attraction to one gender is not easily interchangeable because its hardwired into our brains, except for bi people i guess. Well to put it simply, we live in a society. Because the whole industry thrives on competition, there is no room for other things like ethics, standards etc in companies.
