Because I have been an activist, I've done fundraisers, a parade and a food drive, for all sorts of shit, I never once said anything rude to you. I simply asked why you don't go out and do things to raise awareness if you care that much, which you clearly don't.

You took everything I said and that's your only response? To me that proves you don't care about prostate awareness you just want to bitch and moan, no I don't want to see you topless. I want to see more men actually raising awareness rather than complain that there's no awareness while not doing anything

Dude most people don't give two fucks about 9/11 anymore, and instead of complaining that you don't see representation do what the women did to get as much representation as they have, go out and be that representation, during these months make posts about it, mention it to people try to start fundraisers, and if you care that strongly try to advocate for changing the month. For someone saying you're not American you're more hung up on 9/11 than most Americans I know

They will, or they guide you to where you should go, have you ever called one of these places? That's what they're supposed to do either help you find resources that will actually help you or help you themselves

Prostate awareness week started in 1989 much earlier than 9/11.

But it's not? Most cancers have an awareness month if not all of them that I could find, yes a lot of them are grouped together but this is just a flat out lie and a simple Google search could tell you so. Edit: In fact December is the only month that doesn't have a cancer awareness attached to it

I know what consent is, but if I decide to tell my wife I'm going to donate my organs, then on my way to sign I get in a car accident I'm not going to make it out of does my word of 2 hours ago mean nothing now because I can no longer function? Edit: To answer your question, if someone gives consent to sex before during and after getting drunk no matter how drunk they have no real grounds to say they didn't give consent, man or woman

I never once said that only a women's consent matters that is the biggest croc of shit I have ever heard and the fact that you would suggest I think that is idiotic. If you actually read my response to your questions, if the genders were reversed I'd think the same damn thing, it all comes down to what we don't know, did the husband give his wife her consent before he went on life support? We don't know, but it is really such a bad thing to hope that he did? All I've been trying to do is suggest…

My entire point, (which many here have missed) is that the possibility exists that this woman has her husband's consent, it is entirely possible they were going to ask the doctor about it then his condition deteriorated, I am not saying she is in the right if she didn't have consent, I am saying the possibility exists that she got his consent privately, which no one else seems to even consider.

Then if he chooses to not take responsibility for the child than that is his decision. I wouldn't say terminate it out of principle but if that's the decision they both come to then yeah, but he has no obligation to take responsibility for it

I sound like a rapist? Again you know nothing of what happened before he got sick, having a child is not something you decide to do overnight, it is very likely they've been trying for a child for some time, you don't know one way or another you're simply assuming the man had no say in whether he had a child.

1.) As I said earlier which you may have missed if the husband woke up and said that he never intended to have a child then the wife is completely in the wrong and needs to stop whatever treatment she's doing to get pregnant. 2.) It would depend on whether the first scenario happened, if he raised this child for let's say 5 years, then yes, I would say he should have to pay child support, if he got better and accepted the child as his own and willingly raised it with the mother. 3.) It would dep…

No if a comatose woman was raped there are tests you can run to check for rape, you can prove that in a court of law, you can't say one way or another what happened before this man's sperm was taken by his wife.

Ha you're funny. I'm no feminist, trust me, I'm just making the argument that it is possible that the wife did get her husband to agree to what she did before he went into a coma, again we don't know.

Why not? If the husband and wife decide on something before one of them is unable to give medical consent I see no reason as to why they should be denied to go through with it. If the wife told the husband that he could then there should be nothing stopping him and vice versa, this entire fucking comments section is going on the assumption that the wife did this without consulting her husband that she saw him dying and said huh I want his baby. For all you fucking know they've been trying for a …

You have no idea if the wife violated his consent, you're making an assumption that the husband and wife didn't talk about this before he got much worse.
/r/MensRights22/07/21 04:16 PM

You're assuming that this was a split second decision on the wife's part, you don't know that the husband hadn't told her that she could do it or that they were speaking of it before his condition deteriorated, and yeah it would be rape if this was against his will but we don't know if they discussed it or if he gave her his consent before he died you're assuming that she did this with no thought or consideration for her husband

Having sex with a comatose person and extracting semen or an egg is widely different, yes I'd have an issue with it, just as much as if the court said she could have sex with the man, she got the semen so she could go through IVF

Sure, maybe, but these two were married for who knows how long, we don't know as the article doesn't say, as the wife can still make medical decisions for him we have to assume that the husband trusted her and maybe loved her, we assume that his state got progressively worse than what it used to be and it's possible that they spoke of it before he got to the point where he was comatose, again we don't know, all we know is that a woman is losing her husband to Covid, he will not survive this and …

That's not my point. The article you linked is helpful, and I've read it before, but my point is one has nothing to do with another.

Huh that's odd, it is actually an interesting article to be fair I'd recommend googling it to give it a read

This had nothing to do with what happens in India, this is a woman who's husband was dying, practically dead already and she wanted a son by him to remember him by

This isn't rape, they extracted his sperm so the wife could get pregnant and have his child after he died, they stuck a needle in his testicles and extracted the sperm
/r/MensRights22/07/21 12:44 PM
-9

No one's jerking him off for one, they stuck a needle in his testicles and extract the sperm that way, secondly the husband was dying, he was comatose unable to speak and will likely die in a few weeks, he couldn't give consent which is why she needed a court order and there's nothing wrong with that the wife wanted to have someone in her life after the love of her life was dead.
/r/MensRights22/07/21 12:41 PM

It's possible they were actively trying for a baby before he got sick.

I don't understand why this is such a terrible thing, her husband was dying, it makes sense she would want to have some kind of memory of him to keep her going throughout this tragedy. You people will jump on any chance to demonize women

You say this like there's never been an article about men who served in Vietnam, if there wasn't than I would think you'd have a point but your argument here is that because this exists then the men who fought aren't important to people.
/r/MensRights04/06/21 03:28 PM

There have been plenty of articles saying what the men went through during Vietnam, no one is saying that they didn't matter, if you have a minority group in a large group about anything there will be an article about it, there have been articles about black Americans fighting in the Civil War does that mean that the other men who fought aren't important? No, it's just they're a minority group therefore to the public they're interesting, shit like this is what feminists and people who are on the…

See, I disagree, I don't think life in prison is the right answer for someone making a false accusation. I believe it should be the same amount of jail time then add 15 years for willfully trying to ruin someone's life but that's just my take on it
