It’s just my opinion that nearly all other fields other than STEM are a stupid choice. That’s a whole other issue. But there is nothing keeping a girl from choosing one major over the other. See most of these aren’t problems for society to fix. They just happen, if a woman chooses to have a baby and is a time sensitive field like R&D or tax accounting, she has to understand that she will be out for about 6 weeks and how that will effect her career.
