I also remember asking whether or not you would consider what is happening right now a public outrage. 7500 comments in the r/movies thread. In less than a day it's already one of the biggest threads of all time. 7500 comments and most of them negative. You never answered. but if it were to depict women like this, it would be a public outrage. But it has caused one. With this (based on the info we have) depiction of men. Why act like there's some horrible injustice happening here?

You're here to defend the movie across reddit. I'm not defending the movie. I think it looks pretty bad. the implications of anti-male propoganda Are you worried? Trust me you are going to be fine. It's just a movie. Hating it online will only be counterproductive. edit: Lash out? What? Where?

yeah let me know when you find such a thing here. This thread right here for example? I still think you're in the wrong place. Why do you think that I'm in the wrong place? What have I said that was inappropriate for the subreddit?

A discussion with zero differing opinions is not a discussion but a circlejerk.

I appreciate you backing me up but you shouldn't throw insults around so hastily. Nothing good comes out of people yelling at each other.

Seriously though, what's the big deal? It's a movie that everyone hates before it's even out. Isn't this what you want?

This keeps you up at night?

A remake of Ghostbusters with female cast qualifies as a societal problem that men face? If nobody wants this movie then the market will take care of it. Just another box office bomb. What's the big deal? Besides, you are acting like nobody has a problem with a movie bashing men when literally the exact opposite has happened on reddit. Before anyone has even seen it. I don't get it.

In r/movies there's a thread about this review with 6000 comments in it. Most of them hating the movie. What would you call that if not public outrage? Honestly it's just a hollywood moneygrab remake of a popular ip. Getting angry about it is just as childish as getting angry about Transformers 2.

Please raise your hand anyone who has actually seen the movie.

What do I have to do with any feminist public outrage?
/r/MensRights09/07/16 04:55 PM

It's just a movie. Chill.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
