Radical feminists don't overpower the rational ones, it's a fairly biased way of thinking. It's like any group of people. The sane ones keep to themselves, and don't make much of a ruckus. But the idiots are obvious going to be idiots and make a huge scene about it, making the entire group look worse than it really is.

And normally I'd agree, except this is a fairly common trend among sites and lists of this nature which have garnered similar responses from other fanbases. No attention is bad attention is true when it comes to ad views. And even a spike of traffic for a week or so is pretty decent. Then they'll try some other tactic to lure people over, rinse and repeat.

Found the perfect reaction image for your comment.

Also noted in the comments is that writers purposely rank people incorrectly in these "top X people" lists. The actual fans get pissed off, show other fans, now the site has tons of traffic. Exactly as planned.

My bad, will delete this right away.

Please be a troll. This looks like it was screencapped from Jezebel so I'm interested in seeing comments in response to this comment. Yes, the Gawker network is mostly inane nonsense, but there are still a few level-headed individuals there.

Nope they're still there. Might take a while to load but scroll down to the bottom of the article and people from Facebook have left their opinions.

Looking through the comments and I'm glad to see that people are tearing the article down for the poorly written piece of garbage it is.

It's all good. Just know that he's gone back on his word a lot (e.g. reimbursing people affected by the really old Chinese head tax), reduced protection for the Canadian environment, and really screwed up our economy. This Indiegogo campaign only covers a sliver of the damage this man has done: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-shitharperdid-ca-kick-the-harper-government-right-in-the-tv/x/1038638

Consider some of the things Harper has supported and pushed for in recent years, I doubt he'll be of any help in this situation. Personally, I can't stand the man or many of his policies.

I completely understand your issues with this sub, and some of us have been doing our part by trying to direct these kinds of posts towards r/mensrants or similar subreddits. But the truth remains in that, a big reason (as stated already) why there aren't more positive stories is because they are less common. And while I agree that we do go overboard on the anti-radical feminism content at times I don't believe we should completely abolish it. These kinds of people exist and we should be reminde…

It has happened before unfortunately. If I'm correct there was a lawsuit against individuals within the srs community for egging a man to commit suicide but I never heard the conclusion if it.

So glad to see "then-fiancee". No one deserves to be stuck with someone as close-minded, cold, and unsympathetic as that.

Are you certain we can't just go to a local butcher and mail her pig intestines? She won't be able to tell the difference, we're all pigs to them anyways.

People have lost jobs, friends, and their dignity via stupid things they've said or posted online. I admire your faith in humanity but I've seen too many similar acts of stupidity in the news to maintain said faith.

I think Reddit is just going through a mass wave of negativity and all the subreddits are experiencing it. Cough/r/starcraftCough. Hopefully it'll come to pass.

And that's exactly why my Facebook page has minimal information about myself and is posted under a fake name. Only people I know will be able to confirm that the individual is actually me. Any attempts to determine if the account belongs to me will result in denial.

This is a fairly common technique to bringing down any website. However by doing so you risk being accused of spreading child pornography yourself. I laughed when that poster used a proxy. A proxy won't do shit all if the FBI come looking for you. Otherwise childporn rings would never get busted due to everyone using a proxy to stay safe.

Kotaku used to be alright, but the community became really toxic.

Wasn't there a user who was egged on by SRS users to commit suicide and actually succeeded? His sister attempted to sue Reddit and the perpetrators but I never found out what became of said lawsuit. If the above story is true and the SRS community is still allowed to flourish I think that's an clear example of something not being quite right. Even if the above story is falsified there is plenty of other stories of SRS causing disturbances such as the debacle with the LGBT subreddits several mont…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
