Large, highly metropolitan cities/areas with a dense population. In my opinion, a place with a high percentage of rentals is a possible indicator of women in your target age group. Given where you are, I agree with the advice to go back to NYC.

You have two options: Never ask her out and forever wonder what could have been. Ask her out, but have a plan to graciously accept rejection if it ends that way. “Hey, I misread the vibe. Let’s continue to keep it casual between us.” TBH, I don’t think she’s as into you as you’re interpreting. This is a work setting, and it’s a whole lot less boring if you’re able to have fun with your coworkers. Don’t mistake friendly for flirty.

PUA material leaves the reader completely unable to process the reality that one can do everything right and still be rejected by a girl. No guy has a 100% success rate picking up girls.

Pretty girls with a distorted perception of what’s fair and what’s not fair are a real trip.

I think 10 days on a dating app is too long. You’re giving her too much attention and emotional availability. She has no impetus to meet up in person. Also, if you fall for her this hard before even meeting in person, you’re not going to do well in the long run.

Ask him to come over to help you move something. He’ll feel useful, and you’ll already have him at your place.

Let me put this simply. No matter how much preparation you put in, there is no 100% guarantee that you'll get it right on the first attempt. This is contrary to your experience in life so far, but that's how it is. You'll approach girls, you'll get rejected, and that's all inherently part of it. Build up your confidence so that, 1) you'll de-pressurize the mentality of getting it right on the first attempt, 2) have the resolve to try again after encountering your first rejection.

Get their contact. Message them about the group project. Find a lead-in where you can mention something about yourself or your day. If they respond in kind, go off topic and see where that leads.

She wants to do relationship things with you, sex included, without being exclusive. Some people might not do well over text. Have you determined if this is the case with her?

“Hi, you must be new here. Which group do you work in?” Ask anyway, even if you know the answer, and let her tell you.

People like to laugh. People find it attractive when you can own your personal flaws. Combine the two, and be able to not take yourself seriously.

Ask her out. Do not draw out online interaction. Some girls can be on social media a lot, and will reply to almost all messages that are not creepy.

She likes attention and you’re giving it to her. Don’t fall for the trap of thinking she’s sub-posting about you. You were also told that she’s not interested. Don’t continue to pursue unless you just like talking with her.

Be physically fit Invest in personal aesthetics Dress well Most men would be attracted to women based on these factors. It's crazy to think women wouldn't expect the same from men. Thank you for sharing your experience that it's true.

This actually has some utility if you think there might be confirmation bias.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
