I wrote a lot. I'm not going over everything in intricate detail here. This isn't a dissertation, it's a Reddit post. I've made the corrections.

To be fair, that was a typo. I am quite proficient in my writing. Thank you.

But that then does not explain the two first hand account scenarios. One, where an ex said she was raped, but her depiction of the situation was she consented, but felt coerced by the man since he paid for the date, and the second being when an ex owed me over a grand, and I asked for even less back in payments, and she later stopped making the payments, telling me I coerced her into it (she owed it to me in the first place). There's no middle there. In the first case, she whole-heatedly stated …

Agreed of course, but that still doesn't answer one of the dilemmas I'm having. Are we saying that all of, or most of these woman are telling the truth? Does that mean that this many men are in fact, these kinds of human beings? And also, what about my personal experiences with woman making consensual choices, or even throwing themselves at me, then later saying that they feel like I used them for sex when I wasn't even planning to have sex with them at all? That's VERY off-putting. It makes me …

My goal for the past year has been long-term, and I would assume that at least most of the woman I've dated knew I was looking for a relationship. But what you're saying is that these things wouldn't be communicated to someone with short-term expectations, which makes sense. Why would you waste your time unveiling almost anything about your deeper past to someone you have no intentions of seeing for long? It's temporary. But either way that doesn't answer any of the questions above. Say these wo…

From how I understand intersexual dynamics, the "bad boys" idea isn't so much that girls like bad boys, but that they like confident men who have options. If a man is actually confident, he probably gets positive feedback from woman, and if he does, he probably has options. A person with more options is less likely to settle for someone, due to the grass is ever greener mentality. I for example am a really good guy (I believe). I have been called a "unicorn" in the past by woman I've dated. I've…

I really dislike the notion of oneitis. It seems to me to be a nihilistic attempt at safeguarding the ego for the sake of the assertion that you're going to fail at sharing a deep, life-lasting love. We should be embracing oneitis. When two individuals both want nobody other than one another, you've created the potential for an eternity of experiences, of sharing, of commitment, and of connection. You unwrap the layers of the psyche; of the heart--and unveil the potential for something that stan…

Apples and oranges, my friend. None of the examples you've provided are as deep, as prolific, or as meaningful as love. Religions, novels, television, music, poetry, art--these things, often considered the very fabric of what makes us human and sets us apart from every other force of nature, are inundated with ideas of love. You're broken as a human being when you delude love, and transform it into a superficial, fleeting ideology. Love is, by its very axiom, meant to be eternal. Once love can e…

This is the worst part of love. We're raised with the idea that love is endless, and the most powerful concept in all of human experience, yet that isn't what we see out there, in the real world. What we see is quite the opposite--that love isn't eternal. That it is in fact, superficial, biological, and fleeting. That its value should be taken with a grain of salt, and that all romanticism that represents love is just an illusion. And it seems to be to be getting worse as our technology advances…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
