1	What do you guys think of medication for social anxiety? Exposure therapy (when performed properly) has a much, much higher rate of success than medication for social anxiety. Exposure therapy doesn't mean "just go do it." There's a methodology to it, and you can find that methodology online if you look it up and go for .edu sources. 2	I deleted all dating apps. I want to get out more but I have anxiety. What would you guys recommend? Learn some basic openers. Start with a false time restraint (eg: Hey, I've got to get back to my friend in just a min, but [opener]). Ask for a number. Accept rejections with grace. Record each approach in a notebook with the date, time, location, brief description of the interaction. Do that for 100 approaches (spread out over 6-8 weeks or so), and then stop using the notebook.
