The middle ground is for people who are either to stupid, or to cowardly to pick a fucking side. I would say the stupid, cowardly way out is to allow yourself to be pushed into white supremacism just because you don't like what some liberals on the internet say. But maybe that's just me--I am a man and I don't allow the actions of others to determine my beliefs and convictions.

My point is that this sub is no longer primarily about men's rights or fighting for male equality. It's largely about highlighting, bashing, and demonizing cherrypicked feminists and women. It's fallen far from what I hoped it could be.

Just look at the top-rated comments in this thread. Affirming comments about men's rights? Almost none. Hate-filled comments directed at women and feminists? Nearly all of them. This sub has basically become the men's equivalent of fatpeoplehate.

That's not really an example of universities restricting free speech heavily. If you look at the areas designated, they are on the corners of quads/lawns. These are primarily to allow for controversial public speakers like the people who come onto campuses with signs saying things like "Fags Go to Hell".

Yes, Secretary of States spent lots of time addressing foreign audiences. They also spend a lot of time addressing American audiences who are living abroad. I don't understand where my "desperation" comes from. I merely pointed out that it's not inconceivable that an American politician might be addressing a solely American audience.

It's not unreasonable to presume her words were aimed primarily, if not entirely, at American women, since she has been a First Lady, a major Presidential candidate, and a Secretary of State. If it had been the words of someone other than (arguably) America's most prominent female politician, your criticism would make more sense.

So you disagree with my assertion that if the stated goal (as Funcuz put it) is: with any luck , if enough women see it , maybe they'll start to get the point about how offensive it is to be considered guilty of a crime not even committed yet The best course of action is to be as offensively stereotypical towards women as men have been portrayed? No one wins in that situation.

Nobody seems to care if they do it so what's the problem with us doing it as well ? Because attitudes like that rarely, if ever, produce the kind of results you pretend to want. Posters worded like that are far more likely to make people (i.e., women) feel threatened and reactionary than introspective.
