The draft should be illegal. It is unavoidable in case of an all-out, elongating war. Especially, when soldiers of some countries (cough russia cough) are known to be especially brutal towards civilians, no matter their age or sex.

Well, we evolve all the time, it isn't a change that will happen in even 5 generations. Visit some medieval castles from around 1000 years ago, you will see that many doors or ceilings are lower and some furniture shorter, as people were simply shorter back then. At least that's what I was told by a tour guide when I visited one of the castles.

Not really, TERFs (Trans-Excluding Radical Feminists) are a rather common thing, at least common enough to get a name. Also these are usually the loudest ones.

That's the case in my country too, though some people either don't give a shit about that or (somehow, as it is nicely stated by a large sticker) don't know about it.

What about regional trains or othet means of transport that don't have seat reservation? I think the headline is about this thing, as there it's first come, first serve, and not long-distance trains where everybody has an assigned seat. I mean, when you've got a seat you paid for and your ticket specifically states that it's your seat, then ok, but in urban buses or trains it is basically a matter of which stop/station you get on and there's no physical way to reserve yourself a seat. Also, if s…

Like aging was only women's problem. We should be thankful that we don't end up like machines - scrapped when no longer useful or when damaged beyond repair.

If they vanished, like, instantly, w/o any warning, at first they may think "yay, peace and love and shit". Then, probably after some time, power cuts off, trains stop, planes fall, roads turn into an absolute massacre (drivers dissapear too) and nuclear power plants decide to commit die. With no power, they go back to technological 1800s, including medicine. So people die due to lack of life support machinery and even more later as modern drugs are a pretty advanced things and can't be made wit…

It is often used when someone says something really dumb in the internet. In Polish it is "Dopóki nie było internetów, to tylko rodzina/wieś wiedziała, żeś głupi"

Well, idk how it is in the US, but in Poland, where I live, teacher is one of the most underpaid jobs. How do you make them work there then? You spend several years on the university to be paid as much as a retail worker. The problem is the biggest when it comes to technical schools (basically a year longer middle school with additional lessons teaching you how to do a certain job). People either simply don't want to work there or work half there, half in the industry or just simply look for add…

In western world? No, why? Women get more and more jobs in previously male-dominant paths and have the same possibilities as men. Tbh, men are more screwed than women are nowadays with how divorce and rape proceedings (for false rape accusations and men getting raped) work. What we should focus on now is male problems, women have quite a good position as of now. What I wonder is, why don't feminists focus on places where women have ACTUAL problems (e.g. some Arabic countries), which include, but…

Reactor isn't as easy to stop as an electric motor or diesel or even steam engine. Especially if it gets out of control, you just can't plug it out and the problem disappears. I'm not a nuclear scientist, but I heard of at least one accident where turning off the reactor would be the best solution but it was not possible.

And if the period extends to more than 2 days, amount of deaths will rise as (at least in Europe) power generators in hospitals have fuel for 48 hours, and you can't get more fuel as fuel pumps wouldn't work because of no power. And if there was a generator on the gas station, they would be already out of fuel would be more valuable than gold. Also, if the disappearance would be quick and nobody was be informed in advance about than, then we have nuclear power plants that will go to shit when un…

And where the hell did you see assaulting anyone? "Fight" is fucking methaphor here, I'm not going around punching people in their faces, you better get help (e.g. reading with understanding classes) as you take things out of context. I can see you've read the comment until the first appearance of "fight", which is like the 8th word in at least 30 word comment
/r/AntiFeminists20/12/21 08:28 PM

Well I'm for equal rights - equal "fights", as bad as it might sound, everybody is in their own "fight" for survival and decent living, and well, women have it easier nowadays than men do. Edit: putting "fights" in " " because of course somebody took it literally

Idk why you get downvoted, you got a good point. People are much more likely to attach less negative feelings to people supposedly fighting for equality, and shown being loved by animals and children.

Ppl: BAN CUTTING EARS AND TAILS OF DOGS (dobermans were the ones mostly affected, try to recall a doberman from a movie, and then check how an undamaged one looks) Also ppl: yeah you can cut one of the most important part of a childs pp out Neither the dog, or the child can give consent. But we still have one banned (at least in EU) and the other one not.

What I also see idiotic is how people think PEGI ratings are for how hard the game is. My father loved to criticize me for playing Transport Fever or Farimng Simulator, which is PEGI 3. He stopped after I showed him MaSzyna, which is technically also a game that is kid-friendly in case of contents, but absolutely non-peoplewhoarenotinterestedintrains-friendly. And what about railways? It is so men-based that one of Poland's biggest railway carriers (Koleje Mazowieckie for someone who's interested) recently announced having a first female train engineer. For one day, it's going to be fun. 1 woman for, let's say, 140 trains (some of their trains run with 2 units connected, I'll count it as one train, also, not every train runs during the day). So one day without any railways. Without the trains that handle a huge part of Warsaw's incoming and outgoing t…

Well, in Poland there are protests and everything. The government here is shit. People now are furious as the government tries to control everything. The one that caused the biggest protests were about 100% abortion ban here, even if the child won't have a chance to have a normal life, because it is so deformed. More and more of the "intelligence" (which includes university professors etc.) does support LGBT people. Most homophobes now are late adults or elderly people, while most young people a…

I mean there are 2 kinds of "feminists": the normal ones, which I do respect as every other living beings, and bad feminists, which I like to call feminazis. The difference is like between a patriot and nationalist: one will do to make their side better by helping it, but doesn't have anything against men/other countries, and the second will do everything to fuck up the day of men/other countries. And honestly I'd put FDS as feminazis

Well a good teacher agrees with the student when they are correct, when they previously believed otherwise. That's how my electronics teacher gained some more respect for me. (My colleague and the teacher were arguing about if DC high voltage power lines are better in some areas than AC ones. My colleague was right there (he was on the DC side), the teacher told him that he thinks it's otherwise but he'll check, he checked and agreed with the student.)
