In my original comments, I said that I feel everyone has different ways to define the term, then went into an example of “people are allowed to cry” but here we are coming to that same conclusion. Although the word “alpha” does have a definition so it can be defined. Opinions may very like I said in my first comment but here we are. Edit: Now I kind of want to know. Do you personally feel that an assertive person can cry often and you would still see them as assertive? I know I could still do th…

And yet kings, queens, warlords, other rulers throughout history and currently do the same thing and yet quite a bit of people consider them “alpha”. Life is wild. ¿Long live the king? The wife of course in this discussion being used symbolically an any thing that a person would covet. Me, frankly, my dear I don’t give a damn. ✌️

As you’re pointing out here, there are different views on what being manly and an alpha male is so by these many differing logics in the comment section we can see there is no true definition of an alpha male aside from doing as you please, and not bearing opinion. Your opinion is nice, but if a person has the means to do so, and they take your wife from you, your opinion of whether it was manly or not, will not matter to them. The action is done, your wife is gone, they or other parties involve…

It’s the mindset of taking what you want when you want it. There’s nothing more manly than not letting obstacle stand in your way.

Lol see! Guns really change an equation. I tell friends all the time that even if they don’t fear an 11y.o. they can still shoot you, but I’ll make sure the people know you died like a dubmbass who had no fear. 🙄

From swords to gold to horses, Gandalf came and went when he wanted and stole a lot of stuff. He & Bilbo stole the gold the dwarves hid when they “recovered” those elven swords, in the Hobbit.

People are not good at honing in on “Alpha males”, women are not good at holding in on “Alpha males”, I say this because an alpha male can shed tears over death, however people would not consider that manly, but that person could also beat you to a pulp any time of day despite them shedding tears, and that would manly. In the end, a man does not care who sees them shed tears because they know who they are however, you may not consider that manly because everyone has an opinion of what a man is b…

That’s why there used to be “people of few words” and “actions spoke louder than words” so no need for frivolous stuff.

Society has been trying to figure out how to control the “radicals” amongst us for the longest time. We’ll get there one day.

It might be the acknowledgment, even if it’s not an in person thing and I do it anonymously. It’s still a nice feeling to think that the person is acknowledging good people exist, and then in my mind, I can constitute myself as a good person. Kind of feels like it falls back on the human ego.

Honestly, I do not know what keeps other people going, but being nice to others is starting to give me a serotonin boost like smoking weed. Feeling like I’ve made someone happy starting to distract me from my own sadness.

Humans are biological creatures are sexual intimacy is part of the general human hormone system so it’s natural for biological creatures to cull a hormonal desire. If prostitution were more legal then the issue might be mute but men can’t get sex regularly with little effort so that point of dating the hormones still stands. Science makes life suck but some figure out how to navigate

Indeed! I’ve always said there are two types of society, those who reject society & those who are rejected by society. I hope rejected peeps have a strong appreciation for caring for others since they know rejection all too well.

You nailed it on the head. You could be “tall, dark, handsome” and still get little to no play through your whole life. You just have to accept that life happens…then hit the gym and still accept it for what it is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
