| 2 | The girl was 10 years old at the time, and the accused boy was 8, police say. Guess who was arrestedthe parents of the boy need to be taken in. | /r/MensRights | 14/01/10 10:49 PM |
| 1 | Drink-spiking leading to date-rape is a urban legend. (British Journal of Criminology)False. I know three different girls who blacked out, and either came to with some frat boy on top of her, or woke up the next morning in a compromising situation. They were all slipped GHB. I'm not saying there aren't girls who fake it to avoid responsibility, but it's definitely not an "urban legend." | /r/MensRights | 19/11/09 01:05 AM |
| 3 | 'I wonder how many women who use cosmetics made from foreskins to attact male attention accuse men of objectifying women?'this is silly | /r/MensRights | 23/10/09 04:29 AM |
| 8 | Feminist - "Women who don't rise up and destroy the male race might be considered as bad as the Germans who didn't stop Hitler"women like this give feminism such a bad name, and are working to their own detriment. you can't fight sexism with sexism. | /r/MensRights | 11/10/09 04:41 AM |
| 4 | Perpetuating the myth "1 in 4 women is beaten in her own home. Fists and Bruises, a black-and-blue world."I know a girl who beat up her boyfriend, then always said how abusive he was to her. I know both of them well, and I seriously doubt it, especially when he was the one with bruises all the time, and she's the one with a drinking problem and an aggressive personality. I hate people like her, who lie and play the poor-defenseless-woman card. They make it harder for people who are actually being abused to speak up about it, because now authorities are always skeptical. | /r/MensRights | 08/10/09 01:45 PM |
| 0 | Feminism is a hate movementIt's outdated. It's talking about 1st and 2nd wave feminists, who went too extreme against what they viewed as oppression. The 3rd wave, millenial feminists reject their mom's brand of women's rights. The new generation just wants equality, and doesn't try to fight sexism with sexism. | /r/MensRights | 07/10/09 01:40 PM |
| -1 | Feminism is a hate movementBoth groups are for the advancement of equality, they both have rational members who are fine with the opposite sex, and likewise have crazy extremists who think they've found the perfect soapbox to be a sexist. They're not as different as you may think. | /r/MensRights | 05/10/09 05:13 AM |
| 3 | Feminism is a hate movementThis makes no sense. If feminism is a hate movement, then so is the mens rights movement (i.e. neither of them are). Everyone just wants fairness and equality, let's not focus on the hateful extremists and then call an entire movement hateful. | /r/MensRights | 03/10/09 04:34 AM |
| -7 | Feminism is a hate movementThe KKK is a hate movement. Feminism, at it's core, is a progressive movement for equality. There are angry and outspoken members, just like in any group, that are the best at getting media attention, and the best at giving opposing groups fodder for complaint. Might as well say Islamic religion is a hate movement, rather than acknowledge that some insane extremists are giving Islam a bad name. | /r/MensRights | 02/10/09 05:08 AM |
| 0 | "I don't blame people for being protective of their children, but enough is enough. I'm sick of the irrational fear of men that has developed over the last 10 years. It's one of the reasons I quit teaching music."regardless of consequence, gotta admit the sentiment is the same. anyway sorry you've had so many bad experiences, women def aren't all like that. | /r/MensRights | 30/09/09 10:16 PM |
| -2 | "I don't blame people for being protective of their children, but enough is enough. I'm sick of the irrational fear of men that has developed over the last 10 years. It's one of the reasons I quit teaching music."I understand being angry and can def see how thats unfair. I just think taking out anger from some bad experiences on an entire gender is kind of doing the exact thing you hate... It makes you the same as angry feminists who say all men are pigs. Or really any American saying all Muslims are terrorists. Sweeping generalizations of anyone are dangerous... just sayin. | /r/MensRights | 30/09/09 09:54 PM |
| 0 | Man and women charged for the exact same crime (commercial sex trafficking of a minor, the woman's daughter), he gets 25 years and she gets 15. He is named and she is not...He got 25 years because he taught her to do these things "with him and others." It says the mom participated in the business, and profited, but doesn't say anything about her molesting her own daughter. So thats probably why his sentence is bigger. | /r/MensRights | 25/09/09 03:38 PM |
