Sorry, thats fucking ridiculous. That had nothing to do with her job performance. What she does outside of work is none of her employers business. I hope she sues the shit out of that employer. This isnt PPD, this is celebrating a company ruining a persons life for PR reasons. Fuck that.

Just because they are more entertaining , even though you work just as hard. That has nothing to do with it. Compare the revenues of the NBA to the WNBA. Thats what it has to deal with. Nothing more. "Working hard" does not mean value. I can work REALLY hard making mud pies. But if nobody wants to buy them, my work has no value. If I put $1,000 worth of work into something that is only worth $100 that MY fault, not the person who is buying it. How would you feel If someone tells you that “that’s…

No. My logic is, read the damn contract. It really isnt difficult.

Who is being an asshole? Every one of these people signed a contract. They werent forced to play by sponsors, leagues, etc. Id they dont like the terms of the contract, dont sign. If that makes me an asshole, then here's to assholery.

Hes calling out the virtue signaling NBA who of course, wont support this. Because all of these people support this crap, until its on them to make it happen. Just like asking Bernie Sanders if he itemizes his taxes. Of course he does.

My wife and I have a fantastic marriage. 12 years this year. Our secret? We put each other first. Thats it. Thats the secret. Not kids, not finances, not careers, each other. The rest always falls into place if the husband and wife are happy and fulfilled.

Well, up front I will say that I am biased. But the Orthodox Study Bible is pretty darn good. First, it has the complete Bible and not just the 66 books of the protestant Bible. So you get the Macabees, Tobit, Wisdom, etc which have a wealth of information in them, and actually makes alot of what Christ was talking about be a bit clearer, as he does mention these "duterocanonical books" in the Gospels. Also, the Old Testament is based off of the Septuagint, whereas most others are based off of t…

Yeah. Thats the big problem I have with the Evangelical position of literalism. Koine and English arent very compatible and you can get some WILD translation differences. As an example, I know of no Koine reader/speaker who considers the NIV version a half-way decent translation; however alot of Evangelical churches use it with no understanding of how badly it was done. I really appreciate the awards. Thanks!!!

In the Greek, its pretty interesting, as its not saying that a woman can not have authority, but that she should not use authority over a man (authentein). In the ancient Orthodox Church, women had a specific role to play as deaconesses, which held a liturgical and leadership role (with other women in the community). They would assist women in baptism as you would be nude, or at the very least extremely close to being nude. The idea that women had no role in the Church, or had no semblance of le…

In some places, its actually illegal to do such a thing because again, a person with Dementia can't consent, so bacially it'd be sexual assault. Im not a lawyer, but I remember reading about this in the news a year ago or so.

It's not. This'll get thrown out in court because someone with Dementia can't legally consent. This will last about 12 seconds in court.

This is exactly why I never, ever, ever am seen alone with a woman other than my family. If I have a meeting with my female boss, the door is open and Im visible. If Im working late at the office and a female team mate is also working late, Im always on a camera. I dont trust any of these assholes.

That's your opinion. And the vast majority don't agree with you My beliefs do not require them to. That being said, the overwhelming majority of people do support abortion restrictions in one type or another. Only dictator ship countries ban abortion. So this is one thing you and Saudi Arabia would agree on. We also agree that the sky is blue. Does that make blue evil? Yet still saying abortion for women is fine and at the same time saying men have no choice is wrong anyway you want to try and s…

Sex isn't a agreement to kids. Saying you have to be celibate because your gender doesnt have or deserve rights is absurd. Then dont have sex if you're not prepared for the consequences. If you need to have sex to have some kind of life validation then you've got bigger problems. It has nothing to do with rights and everything to do with responsibility. When you turn sex into some transactional affair, and remove the responsibility that comes with it, dont be surprised when nature smacks back. T…

You're not wrong. Boys are designed to procreate as much as possible, so dont place the emotional energy into these types of relationships. It's still wrong, but I just cant equate the same level of victimization for boys. Not because it isnt wrong (it is) but the boys often dont feel that victimized. Of course for actual rape, all this goes out the window.
