Also, most of the girls I've been on dates have traveled a lot and I didn't have that opportunity as a kid, so I come off as boring in comparison Mod comment hit the nail on the head but understand that travelling is not a personality. Social media would say otherwise, but its not. As for the degree, 4 years is a short amount of time in the grand scale of things. If youre already past your gen eds, dont stop. There is a point where you have to realize that youre committed and you have to finish.…

Spastic garbage. Is this shit even moderated anymore?

The inability to control your emotions is probably affecting your career too, OP. Anecdotally, your behavior seems typical of a marine (prior AF here). Discipline is endlessly lectured in the military, you would do yourself a favor to listen. You probably had a chance of getting somewhere with this girl if you just took a step back, reassessed the situation, and applied some actual TRP principles. The only way you get your ego hurt in the situation above is by having a blue pill goal/end game. P…

The concept of diminishing returns isn’t spoken of enough here tbh. Everything in moderation.

This post is a prolonged interpretation of sidebar material. It is a mental masturbation post by OP and is dangerously close to blackpill (lists a bunch of problems backed by “data” with no solution). The whole point of this sub is to figure out where you’re at SMV-wise and how to gain an advantage/play the hand you were dealt the best you can. That means you find solutions to problems as a man. Use this post as an example of what not to do. There isn’t anything even anecdotal about this post. A…

This thread of responses just sounds like you have red and blackpill confused. TRP is about always improving your chances in the sexual market; raising a man’s SMV. The “watch what they do” / extreme awalt diagnoses is blackpill. TRP draws parallels to awalt situations to identify a course of action, while blackpill quickly armchairs it as an excuse especially when it comes to the whole 666 idea. Just think about the idea of 666 vs TRP ethos and you’ll find that they don’t align.

This. A&A is widely used even in media. It’s basically a tool to having a witty conversation/banter rather than a serious, boring response. It could be directed between each other or at a third party and it could be used between friends too. Dating is supposed to be fun at every level of socioeconomic status. OP trying to link his anecdotal evidence to such a wide claim without understanding the underlying behind both communities is such a reach. Although I will admit that both communities need …

Frame too, but you’re absolutely right. OP lost frame when he saw her casual clothes.

Remember, conversation is the medium. OP was conveying serious/boring tones while the girl is talking about drinking and partying. Only he knows how that happened, but I’m sure we can all agree it’s not the right direction. I can’t play Sims with a conversation, but they should’ve just exchanged fun stories while he escalated.

You fell for her trap by overdressing. How were you able to have a dry conversation when the first 2 bullets of what you learned about her deal with drinking and partying? And then this lead to… hobbies? What hobby does an 18 year old have? At this point, without any involvement of the first 2 bullets (drinking/partying) I think your chances are very low. Her expectations were probably an invite of some sort. As for your expectations… you expected to get laid? That’s the trap dude. She won witho…

I’m just gonna point out that your probability calculation is severely flawed. Here is an example of why - if the 16% of people that are “over 6 inches long” also happened to fit the other criteria, then there are 160 people total, not 9.36. Your point about supply and demand is still applicable.

Don't type paragraphs, keep your texts as short as possible You should be succinct everywhere, including here. I'm disappointed in myself for reading 75% of this post. The term neg should be removed from the vocab. The purpose is widely misused, especially here. Just call it teasing jfc. You should be lighthearted and teasing a girl you are courting. Thats it! TLDR of this post: "I've never had success, I tried out a "tool" from TRP and had some success"

I agree. I guess the right thing for me to say is that the TRP ideal/theory shouldn’t care.

I don’t think trp dudes care. It’s just about knowing the rules to the game and playing your best move. Going black pill would be the people who care and decide not to deal with it

If you’re going to be an engineer then just take the student loans and finish. With a degree you can become an officer. Without a degree you will be an enlisted and the pay difference/treatment between the two are huge. Look into ROTC. They can help you pay for school and it lines up a position as an O. If you’re smart enough to be an engineer you’re going to slightly regret going enlisted before getting your eventual degree anyways. For perspective, junior enlisted live in barracks and are supp…

You cant stop it from happening, but I disagree with "being there for the fall". Instead, take this as an opportunity to reevaluate your friendship. Not because he wont listen to you, but because over the long-term he could be a negative influence on your own personal growth. I dont know anything about your friendship and how deep it goes, but just take a minute or two to reevaluate. And not saying anything like "cut him off"... just whether or not you should maybe associate yourself less.

I agree with this. I had a similar situation to OP happen to me, except it wasnt with some long term friend that was a girl, just a girl that I had shown interest in first. Anyways, my friend at least came to me first and gave me a right of refusal, to which I cheered him on because at least one of us would be successful that night and its not like this girl is the only girl in the world. Not sure what kind of friends OP has or what OP's friends think of him to not respect him enough to approach…

Open a roth IRA account with a broker such as charles schwab or TDA. Contribute that 3k into the newly created account to fulfill 3k of your 6k 2020 contribution limit (assuming you have no roth IRA right now). Use that 3k to purchase SPY. Its an SP500 based ETF. Slightly more risky, but not by much would be to go with one of the mentioned semiconductors. Chip demand is at an all time high, to the point of where there are shortages. Or 50/50 SPY/NVDA. I'll also mention XOM - Exxon mobile. Very h…

Additionally, that "will they say it back" emotional distress should be left for the girl to experience - it works in your favor. Saying it first is a losing situation in multiple ways and OP refuses to acknowledge it by cherry picking RP concepts as a sort of deflection. you replied to this a couple comments up. You basically played the role of the girl by saying it first. Now she cant say it first, you took that away. She doesnt have to wonder if you love her back because you already said it. …

No one said you were in shambles, but the resounding opinion in here and most likely what you need to do to “keep things moving forward?” Is to work on yourself. You should identify what caused you to so quickly commit to her and perform such a selfish act of professing your love to her. You don’t even specify what you’re trying to move forward towards. Time? Eventual separation? Ideal monogamy? Do you even know what?

Hey sorry the internet didnt give you the answer you were looking for and pointed out ways to improve yourself instead. It must suck to get honest feedback instead of smoke blown up your ass. Stop fucking yourself. You posted on here because she didn’t say it back.

First sentence is obviously great stuff, but your analogy is a disgrace to poker lmao. The reason behind not saying it first is because it is inherently validation seeking. You dont say it unless youre expecting it back. Additionally, that "will they say it back" emotional distress should be left for the girl to experience - it works in your favor. Saying it first is a losing situation in multiple ways and OP refuses to acknowledge it by cherry picking RP concepts as a sort of deflection.

No. This guy's comment is super helpful in regard to you specifically because he is right. You need to have a real objective look at yourself to be confiding your commitment to someone else so quickly. It may not be the answer youre looking for but it is indeed a helpful answer. To me, it sounds like you have assigned way too much focus on this relationship in regards to your life as a whole. She comes, she goes, whatever, but its not healthy to try and maintain a power dynamic in a relationship…

Holding frame doesn’t mean you need to be confrontational with someone who is physically superior. In your scenario, you can hold frame by turning his gesture (a command) into a request - that you choose to oblige. Immediately being confrontational/defensive if anything just shows fear. You were taken off guard. Slow down the situation to your pace by asking for an explanation, then move from there. Rarely is something so time critical that you can’t slow down the situation and get the proper in…

Depends on what you count as cheating. I personally wouldn’t count it as cheating if the relationship was basically dead (kill the puppy stage) Learn to read the room... it’s pretty easy to tell when you’re not a girls main object of desire. If you’re not then someone else usually is - if you’re in a committed relationship then, sure you have some equity, but that only buys you time to fix your shit. I haven’t experienced any cheating. Listen to your gut and don’t succumb to insecure thoughts

Tread carefully... you’re walking a thin line because I can see in your reply that you’re going to get over invested. My ex and I are both EEs. I had the whole “power couple” shit running in my mind and it ate my ass up. Just know there’s hotter girls out there, with less of a bothersome history - that might be more responsible too.

If her past bothers you enough to ask... is it even worth the headache? She’s out of state and while she’s been decreasing her SMV (youth), you’ve been significantly increasing yours (LMS + mission) I’m on the other side of this mate - her past never bothered me, but she definitely used it as a shit test and you should expect it to be a shit test. For example “omg remember this one guy? He just messaged me X” or “my ex, the one who left me for another girl cause she gave him more morning BJs, ju…

Size isn’t the only determining factor in your gf getting off. I personally made the mistake of ignoring clit stimulation. Just ask her what she likes and go from there. If she actually likes you and you’re not rocking a micro dick then you’re fine.

Maybe. Those 3 phone calls gave her a ton of validation. It definitely showed my hand and lack of abundance, although it was in the moment. I had waved the abundance flag in her face during my shitty explanation of why I was wasting my time with this by mentioning that it’s not a problem to find another girl, but phone calls make me look incongruent. Definitely way too much explanation - tried to make it vague, but most likely came off butthurt about lack of sex

Whoa 4 weeks is a little long lol. I mean we were talking daily. I wouldn’t pick up the phone and other things. Just weird how cyclical it was. 300km is way too far too, I could barely do the 20ish miles this was. There was a point in early March where she did ghost me for a whole week. I was able to “game” my way back by being aloof and having witty responses, but it was a lot of work and the oneitis I developed gave me massive anxiety attacks (which I hid) It got to the point of me saying “I n…

The breaking out of friend zone was after a year of ghosting and then me hitting her up randomly with a date. She dropped the L word really early and frequently at the start. It was pretty interesting. She taught me a lot. She would do these beta baits. For example, less than a month into “dating” she invited me to be a plus one at a wedding. Instead of politely declining, I agreed to avoid the awkwardness of declining, aka not setting proper boundaries. After agreeing she then had a rubber band…

There are not a whole lot of short term growth opportunities without risk. Dont risk your house down payment - who cares if you lose a couple percent of growth on that down payment. Think of it as a premium for having no risk.

Holy shit. I was literally talking about this with my room mate a couple weeks ago... I ended up coming with the same exact term -- Consumer (which still sounds bad). Although I used consumer and producer as the 2 main terms, I was spittin the same shit. You need to be your own producer of happiness.

The lesson here is - don’t agree to go on an exclusive trip with someone you don’t like. Sure you can pull lessons from this, but I don’t get the whole “she’s lower than me, so now IM the girl” approach. Not all dudes pursuing girls are pursuing higher value girls. Rules of game apply for lower value and higher value girls, hence AWALT.

What? You want to send her off without at least a kiss because she'll want another date without a kiss? Stop making excuses and escalate. At least then youll get the idea of whether or not you should even go out with her again.
