How do you explain married men living longer, having lower rates of depression, lower incidences of cardiovascular disease, and being happier in old age? Could this be that on average this biased system is better for men than the alternative? Personally, I know that I am better off and happier single but also recognize that my route is not the best path for the majority of men.

His experience is an extreme minority. It is best to see the full spectrum of relationships that are possible. From terrible to great. Not every man is like you. There are some feminine men out there who are attracted to more masculine women. I have spoken to feminists that believe that even women who lie about rape should be defended if it is a public case. Their concern is that these cases are very public and could make real victims fearful of reporting rape cases in the fear that they may be accused of lying. They want to create an environment in which women feel comfortable in reporting rapes. They feel that it is just to sacrifice a few men for the benefit of the many women that are sexually assaulted each year.

I never said that it was women's fault. I am in the minority here, but I find that men here are a big cause of the issues in relationships. I think that some of you blame women for the bad choices that you have made. It is like someone with a terrible diet blaming McDonald's instead of taking responsibility for making bad choices.
