I'd say it wouldn't be a bad idea, teach men to be gentlemen and all. Thing is this is the Chinese government doing this, so this is probably in line with everything else they're doing right now like shutting out western influence and basically closing itself off (which in case people didn't know, hasn't worked that well before). So I genuinely worry for the people over there.

Luckily China can't overtake or be the lead nation ever unless they change their way of doing things. You can't market yourself as a "developing country" while simultaneously building rockets. Not to mention the fact that the free trade that we experience now is something I doubt China will be willing to uphold in the future. A part of their strategy is plunging nations into debt, making it harder for other countries to improve as well. There's also how they are trying to kick out english speake…

I also disagree with the second class citizen notion, but I'd also like to bring up how there isn't any patriarchy propping us up. Especially when you see stuff like say, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard situations.
