If I had to give an answer based on my own knowledge, I would say it’s probably two reasons. One is subs like r/gamersriseup are much more popular. Second would be they are more blatant, the racism is pretty open in those subs. Of course people don’t just type the n word with hard r’s, but it’s pretty obvious. Oh just thought of another one. Yup same for me, and hope you like it. Only thing is I think it makes complete sense. The internet and reddit is dominated by young people, and I know this might be rude if you are a fan of trump. But trump is the first president for a lot of people that is well.... kind of an idiot. So I think it’s them just trying to relate because they don’t know what to do.

I mean I wouldn’t say I completely agree with you. My main issue is that they aren’t good pictures no matter the context, like people posting about surviving cancer. Yo that’s amazing, shit pic tho. Generally I would say most subs are the same. Just some of the big ones are cringe on both sides. If you want an amazing subreddit for cool pictures, I can’t recommend r/nocontextpics . They aren’t allowed to title it so all the pictures ride or die based on if the community thinks it’s good.

I mean I agree but it’s a company’s platform so that doesn’t apply here. Also I mean I am a lil edgy cunt but I know the place. An open platform that has to show it doesn’t harbor racism can’t allow subs like that. I feel the same way I do about those subs as I do r/pics, pics has low effort karma whoring, those subs have low effort kinda racist memes.

Honestly I don’t care if it’s edgy or not, but ironic subs will always go unironic at some point. Gamers rise up used to be making fun of the people that were on it later, edgy lil children. And some of the posts were pretty bad. In the sense of Reddit is a company and can’t have blatantly racist stuff on their website.
