Well maybe they are, there’s not much to go on in your post. Do you feel that most girls react to you in this way? When they behave like this it’s most likely that you’re just not giving them the reactions they want. I had similar issues when I was in my late teens and early twenties. I had a lot of anxiety in general, which led to me being in my own head a lot which in turn led to the appearance of me being disinterested and stand-offish when talking to people in general, even though I didn’t m…

Just leave ‘em really. There’s plenty of girls that aren’t passive aggressive “bitches”.

I recognized that this was emblematic of a larger problem in my life. Not only in love but also work and other kinds of relationships. In the words of William Blake, “He who desires but acts not, breeds pestilence”. I realized that my fear to act on my desires was ultimately to blame for my poor mental health. My fear of failure was keeping me from experiencing the things I wanted to experience most in life which in turn led to depression and me being a negative influence in other people’s lives…

It actually originated from British English. A lot of sayings that involve the Dutch have negative connotations, like ‘Dutch courage’ for example. This is because most of these sayings stem from a time when the English and Dutch were often at war with each other and general competitors as global colonial superpowers. Bit of trivia for you there, innit.

Man, sometimes you develop a crush or fall in love, it’s only natural. What you have to do is distinguish between these healthy feelings and obsessing over a girl to the point where getting validation from her becomes your sole focal point in life, which can lead to unhealthy behaviour of all sorts.

Initial attraction is usually shallow, you can’t really help it innit.

There’s a lot of reports in “the West” about gang rapes in India, white tourists getting raped and murdered. There’s also a famous video on Facebook which shows people from some town somewhere in India saying that women are to blame for their own rapes. Of course a lot of people are stupid and feel like all Indians believe this or condone it and therefore won’t give Indians a chance.

Yeah fair enough, should’ve said “from work” rather than “at work”.

Maybe it’s important to mention that I don’t live in America and my culture is a lot more sex positive. My last company had office drinks every other Thursday and it was extremely common for people to hook up without it having consequences for their careers. It’s just my current company doesn’t really do that so that makes it a lot harder to approach. According to the video I should just wait until the next party in December, which I guess I’ll do.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
