*pedophiles and rapists.... call them what they actually are.

This is fucking disgusting. That poor kid looks so confused and embarrassed. Can you even imagine the sexes being reversed here? If anyone knows who this vile human is, they need to report her to the authorities asap.

Yep. Very strange indeed. And what if a straight person went in the room, do they get kicked out?

I would say that you are correct based on the Judea- Christian beliefs. Personally, I believe in a creator, but I do not limit this creator to one set of dogma or religion. If there is a creator as I believe, you could not contain them/it to a single book from a single religion from a single era of history living in a single section of the world.

I have been out of college for close to 15 years. It was getting crazy then, I can't imagine the lunacy on campus now.

I would be money that someone was offended by the use of Queer for that room.

We have fishing laws too, sizes and amount of fish kept per day as well as protected species.

I think it is a general term, the easiest to use if you need to label a room to include all the LGQTBAAWWWFTDA terms

Claiming god is a women is the same as claiming god is a man. If god is god, they created the very concept of man and woman and thus cannot be one or the other.

We had a French exchange student and he was shocked at how we could just go hike anywhere we wanted on public land, shoot guns in our back yard, go fishing and keep the fish, etc.

This person is either not paying attention to all aspects of this issue, or they are being purposefully misleading. Use Garrison Kealor(sp?) for example. He put his hand on a women's back during a mutual hug and lost his show. That is what today's men are facing.

At a very young age I caught my dad "fake spanking" my sister and told her to fake cry after he had just spanked my bro and me for the same thing. Then it became a pattern that our sister had a different set of rules than the boys in the family. I do not blame my parents, they are baby boomers and I think they believed it was the way to raise kids. It turns out that my bro and I both have good lives and happy families, while our sister has a huge drug problem and 7 kids with 6 drug dealer dads a…

Um, maybe they saw how men are treated in the UK justice system and thought it best just to leave the situation instead of going to jail trying to be a hero. This is what happens folks.

I hold the door for everyone though, men, women, kids, gay, straight, muslim, etc... it's just a kind gesture. I agree with your concept, but this isn't a great example.

So you are just still trying to say that the term optimist means idiot. You just reworded it. There is a reason we have two terms. If they meant the same, there would be one word.

Yep, that is where we disagree. We are more than animals.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 08:28 PM

True, but there is more to it that we don't understand. We are not mere animals.

Meh, I only sort of agree. It is hard to ignore than monogamy has been practiced as far back as recorded history among ever culture we have record of. If it were a mere creation of man, it wouldn't be so widespead of an idea. There is more to it. The human soul is an immeasurable thing.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 08:18 PM
1

Fully agree. The entire equation I laid out changes the second you remove the government contract aspect. Men have fallen in love and dedicated themselves to one women for millennia before we started making them sign a piece a paper to prove it. The mix of love and reason is the underlying issue. I have been to MGTOW, too many haters and anger there for me. I am married, but I am my own man and I do what I want.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 08:15 PM
3

True. It is hard to imagine a relationship without the legal paperwork, but it has been done by nearly every culture since the beginning of recorded history. This is why I have a hard time totally dismissing the concept of monogamy for life. Shit, even Penguins do it (along with many other species). So marriage, in it's broader sense has a deeper meaning to being a living being.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 08:10 PM

I just had an epiphany! I never thought of this angle before. Government marriage contracts abnormally mix two strong, opposing male dominant, emotional states, love and rationality. Reason would conclude to never get married ever to any reasonably smart man. Love however, complicates his reasoning and can override just about any emotion in a man. Basically the government preys on man's love to monetize and control!
/r/MensRights02/07/18 08:04 PM

See my other comments, we covered this in this thread already. All on this thread are against the contract side of it.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 08:01 PM

How is love NOT an emotional decision though? It is not playing the stock market. No one can really define or quantify love. It is not a math equation.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 07:58 PM

An optimist has studied and knows the risks inside and out, but takes a chance anyways with a positive attitude. An idiot does not know the risks and goes into a situation (whether it be marriage or starting a biz) completely ignorant.

They need to get out of completely. I imagine that if men were not legally responsible for children they create, women would be a lot more careful who they sleep with and how they use protection. I agree that now, the pressure is 100% on the man to protect himself. Use condoms, never trust a girl if she says she is on the pill, don't sleep with women who have kids from other men, etc.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 05:38 PM

I think you are looking at this more like playing the stock market. The human element is impossible to quantify. And we are going in circles, I agree that marriage should not be a legally binding, government contract, but I am not against two people committing themselves to each other for life.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 05:35 PM

Horrible grammar, sorry, rushing.

I agree, but I feel like you are playing monday morning QB. I agree that when/if you get divorced it is heavily favored to the women, no arguments there. But, many people are happily married and it makes their lives better and more fulfilled. I agree that in this world of negativity towards marriage it takes a bit of optimism, but so does a lot of ventures. The reward can be great or horrible. So yeah. It's gamble, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
/r/MensRights02/07/18 05:07 PM

I can appreciate your position, but I just don't agree that "only idiots" get married. I think that is a horrible generalization. There are plenty of happy families out there. On another related note, I wish that the government would stay out of marriage all together. You should be able to get married without making it a legally binding contract. I think that would solve a lot of issues relating to dudes getting fucked over in divorce.

Sounds more like a MGTOW post. I don't think having a family goes against men's rights unless you marry a controlling psycho. Haha

I hooked up with a girl after a night out and for weeks following she would show up at my work and at my apt uninvited and demand I come out. I had to sneak out over a balcony once.

Stop trying to turn this into a women's rights issue.

Agreed, I always hated the "well they are doing it anyways" argument. Like giving heroin users free needles and shit. It just encourages more bad behavior.
