I've only been able to with PIV if I actively do it myself (hand or toy), but my fiance gives great head, so he actually does satisfy me on the regular. However, I guess the argument can still be made here that head from a woman would be good if not better; though I am bi, and he's better than some women. EVEN STILL those particular women were able to satisfy me as well.

They call this sub toxic, but I've seen nothing but positivity and encouragement for other women to just be happy with themselves. How is that toxic at all to want to be an independent person?

This is an important message even if you have romantic love. Even a HVM isn't worth giving up or neglecting what makes your soul happy.

Frankly I dress myself so I get compliments from other women (and myself in the mirror), because their opinion matters more to me.

I really can't understand why other subreddits say this one is so toxic when this is the pure message. How is it so toxic to want better for yourself? How is it toxic to build other women up and make sure they know their worth?

Y'all this makes me think of a hilarious picture I have floating around. It's at my mom's wedding and we were all doing the whole "okay now you and you in" etc. photos. My ex husband is in one of them... but he's like way off in the background. It's so painfully awkward whenever I come across that picture.

Yep, exactly. My fiance told me he loved me after 3 weeks of dating and consistently showed me every day how much he cares about me. If they want you, they know and will make an effort to keep you.

Exactly. We still call them "men" and "people" while they literally call us "holes". It's disgusting.

I just watched it on HBOMax, but I also have the full DVD collection. I watched the movies on DVD; only the second movie's on Netflix and the first was only for rent on Amazon.

I've rewatched this show many times. Literally yesterday just finished a full rewatch. I love this show!

Yeah, isn't the engagement planning the wedding? I'm fine with a long engagement just to relax about all the planning, but I am not going to wait another 3 years damn.

Yeah, I've just heard "I just really can't deal with this anymore" and they ghost me. No one's ever called me crazy or difficult to my face. I cry a lot though, so maybe they just didn't want to "deal with" me crying anymore. Luckily my fiance not only "puts up" with me, he's kind and understands my feelings in a rational way.

This is honestly a really good point/observation. It isn't about wanting to be a gold-digger or kept woman or whatever. We don't (not all of us, if you do that's fine too, girl) need material things to be happy... we just need to be with someone who's happy damn. Being broke and bad with your money is stressful. Why would you want to build a future with someone who 1. can't get their shit together and 2. is literally never happy when they're with you? It's not about the money, it's about how the…

I mean, I used to have really really ultra low self-esteem and would put out that quickly. Then I got my shit together and didn't give a fuck anymore if they'd stay or not.
