I think she finally sees the Truth Just to play devil's advocate here, I think it comes less from a point of lacking empathy, and more from an instinctive way of thinking; like seeing a grizzly bear cornered and frightened by a cocker spaniel. The assumption in these people's heads is that a woman is no match for a man, and any man who cannot physically defeat her to defend himself is pathetic. 7	Women-in-tech events are anti-male, say men's rights activists I don't get this and never have. Being a woman in a scientific field, it's primarily men I work with... and lo and behold, I'm okay with that. 1	Seems Milo is starting to be a trend around here. It's absolutely true that most women just don't want to go into science fields. I can attest to this because I am a woman in science. I have faced a lot of judgement from other women who are ironclad in their beliefs about womanhood - that women are better off their sex to get what they want rather than building a career, that they ought never shape their own futures, to be mothers only, and leech from men (and society as a whole)...
