Really thought incel was a feminist buzzword, but God damn OP if you don't reek of one.

You don’t have to give a cop shit unless reasonably suspected of a crime. She’s In The passenger seat of a parked vehicle. Unless they are hunting a warrant (which they would have immediately arrested her as soon as her “half” name matched) they have no justification for an arrest. Lying to a cop is not illegal. Nor is refusing to exit a vehicle when unlawfully ordered to. She should have stayed calm, let them arrest her, and sued them to hell in court, but she chose to resist arrest and that’s …

You will never win against an arrest during the arrest. Keep your cool and take their ass to court and make them beg for a settlement. Cops were wrong here. These comments are disturbing. You guys are getting off on police brutality and justifying it because “girl.” I’m all for equal rights and expectations, but some of you fucks are asking for the cops to use excessive force just cause she’s annoying?!?!?

I agree. But its hard to just lay down and take it when you are a victim of a blatant abuse of power.

Says the opposing "Reddit lawyer." I'm speaking from experience on both sides of the law. I've been caught on the beach with alcohol and given the lecture of what is and isn't possession and how i was in the wrong. I've also worked security on the beach during festivals and given the same lecture and proven others in the wrong. Granted the laws might be different in other sates, but that was an unjust arrest if it happened in Florida.

Being in the presence of alcohol does not prove possession. They were closed bottles nearby. If an open container is sitting in front of you, yes you're in possession of said container of alcohol. I've been through this plenty of time with my own beach police and I've dealt with it countless times working security for beach functions. They even asked who it belonged to, and when told their aunt, they asked the AUNT's age. The only cause this cop had to move forward with a forceful arrest was he …

If you think not talking politely justifies a punch in the face, you're the type of person that perverts this sub. Being polite to the police will get you a LONG way and most likely out of any minor trouble. Not being polite to an officer doesn't justify the opposite and being assaulted.

I know its the smart move to go along with whatever cops say to avoid harm for either parties, but this was an unjust arrest. Hard to just GO WITH IT when you are a victim of a blatant abuse of power.

Exactly this is BS from the police not a PASS DENIED. This is the type of shit cops pull that make everyone hate them. Cops on my beach are chill as fuck and this would never happen. This is Harassment by a man with a badge. Notice his partner was quiet and standing back. All body language of i don't agree with this but I'm here as support. There was no probable cause of a crime after she blew a 0.0. Meaning there was no need for them to provide ID. Him "Being done with her" is not just cause to…
