I think OP is also woefully out of touch if he thinks obesity is “glorified” in day to day interactions and that women don’t get objective over superficial traits. A quick look at any beauty pageant, movie, or hell - the Oscars tonight will tell you instantly that obesity is not normal. I’ve known folks who talk like OP who describe women in the 22ish BMI range as “fat” because they have a little pudge on their belly like 99% of humans. A man walks onto a college campus and shoots up a sorority house, but in this thread we're comparing it to "feminists" pulling a fire alarm. Also... The recent tragedy in California has focused attention on troubled young men. Attempts by feminists to associate our movement with violence have met with little success I came here hoping to see serious discussion; I'm seeing blame, more talks about feminist conspiracies, and finger pointing. How does this help?
