Using "mommy" terminology blatantly in a dating profile like it is a badge of honor is a pretty ineffective way to get the "quality" men you want so badly. I honestly am in the minority on this sub because I don't see women with kids by itself as a deal breaker (women similar to my age almost always have them, and I am yet to meet one without kids who isn't batshit crazy), but I still exercise caution, especially if they get so pushy about putting a ring on it or expect me to be a walking ATM. T…

Or be poly unless you are into that sort of thing.

To be fair, one of my exes did a lot of hiking and still complained to me on a regular basis over being fat. My guess is that the calorie intake was still higher than what was being burned from being outside.

It's hard to tell whether she's seriously working at UPS or FedEx, or she is a hooker still looking for someone to date.

By 35, you should have grown up from having a diva/princess complex. It doesn't matter how hot they are, that sort of attitude and behavior kills boners really quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if that had something to do with her baby daddy not being around anymore.

I've been with worse. Aside from her loving country music and edging by my max weight limit, I'd at least go as far as a one night stand, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get into an actual relationship. The kid worship thing is annoying, but single moms do that pretty frequently anyway. She is probably going to have a tough time finding a Christian(tm) guy with the qualities she wants though.

This is literally 75% of the profiles I have seen on Tinder within a 40 mile radius of me. One of the drawbacks to living in a flyover red state.

No one gives a fuck about education levels, and the fact she is not in a field that is reasonably marketable means she will be relying on whoever she"s dating to pay for her existence. Add in the likelihood of most conversation being about nothing but heated political topics, she looks like she will be wonderful in contributing to a healthy relationship. So.....a younger and more attractive version of my ex? I'll pass.

I should have reworded that. In my experience, the bigger problem is when they put high expectations on you and then treat you like shit when you don't meet them.

Aside from her alleged physical attractiveness, she brings nothing to the table in an actual relationship. When it comes to career women who go on about their accomplishments and how much they make, most guys either don't care or are intimidated. Even though my last ex had a couple master's degrees (and went through plenty of effort to make sure everyone she met knew about it) , it still didn't change the fact that she was a controlling physically abusive cunt who most people couldn't stand bein…

My understanding is that there are women out there who are gamers and think it is a unique thing although it clearly isn't.

My last ex-GF had the courtesy to say it to my face. I told her to go fuck someone else then because she was a crazy abusive cunt who demanded so much of my time anyway. Last I heard of her love life, she was complaining to me about the guy she was seeing.

If her profile is truthful, she at least can hold a relationship longer than I ever managed to pull off.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen09/12/17 06:36 AM

I'm sure there are various reasons why she could have gotten dumped. Since she was pretty vague on the signs she did actually mention, I get the feeling that there are a lot of problems or baggage on her end that she refuses to admit. Most guys don't do the dumping unless they have a good reason.

To be fair, the medical field is a pretty secure line of work if you are willing to put up with the stress and grueling education to be qualified for it. I'm much more likely to approach a profile that shows the woman can financially take care of themselves. I am sick of living with girlfriends who expect me to foot the bill for almost anything.

I can see guys going for it, but not for committment or to be an ATM. Any pregnant women who expect those things on a dating site are likely to be ignored by men who are not stupid or desperate.

I have never been in a relationship with a pregnant woman. I have however hooked up with one before a few times, and we both made it clear that we didn't want to get into a relationship with each other.

Thanks. It's still a work in progress, but I should be out of the woods by the end of the month. My social life isn't being harmed by the drama she is trying to pull, but it has been diminished as a result of me moving several states away from where a lot of my friends are.

I hinted towards it in my last comment, but to fight the bitches that lie, you need to protect yourself by reasonably keeping an evidence trail that can be presented if you are accused. We hear about false accusers, but they are very rare. Of all the women I have slept with, I have never seen them go after me over it. And I even have a couple of vengeful crazies under my belt that I have been dealing with over unrelated disputes who likely wouldn't mind seeing me get gunned down. They could try …

Prostitutes are obviously in it for the money. Just like any service industry, they just want to get one customer over with and quickly move on to the next guy in line. I believe that it is still possible to safely hook up with women. You just need to be careful in reading what they want, and respect them like anyone else. I try to approach gradually and slowly escalate physical contact as I connect with someone I like, and they reciprocate that contact. Breaking it down, there are a lot of secu…

As long as everyone involved are consenting adults, I see no reason why the legal system should be involved. Still probably not someting I would partake in myself, but with my last two girlfriends being so controlling over what I do with my own money, I might as well have been hiring a hooker.

I'd be willing to date her. I would need to learn more before I would consider anything serious though. Thanks to my last two relationships being very shitty, my bar for that is pretty high.

I already dealt with plenty of shitty attitude from the last woman I was in a relationship with. My patience for putting up with it is pretty damn low at this point in my life. There is also nothing unique about liking horses and music. I have never met any women who DON'T like those things.

Aside from a cheap way to have kids for men who can't afford a surrogate or for estate planning while on a deathbed, I fail to see how marriage actually benefits men. I have been married before, and the only difference between that and a long term relationship is the legal paperwork involved. I love the response on this. Although I have met women in their late 30's and 40's that are really hot and I would gladly plow until my dick falls off, relationships themselves can become a depreciating ass…

I'm fine with being a positive influence around kids. It just creeps me the fuck out when they call me dad.

I'm usually willing to give them a shot, but I'm pretty cautious about it. At my age, they seem to be terribly common. The ones without kids are either crazy or pretty much unicorns.

These women seriously need to dial back on talking so much about what they expect of men, and actually mention what they bring to the table besides making us vaguely guess from their pictures.

At first glance, that actually sounds reasonable for a single mother's expectations, but I would still tread carefully since I have personally experienced someone lying to me about that before. By the end of that relationship, her youngest kid was already calling me daddy. I was not very pleased.

If you can't scrape together $100 as an adult for important shit like rent, I want nothing to do with you in a relationship. I have someone I met on Match texting me lately, and it evolved into something like this. Honey, I never even met you in person yet. Why the hell should I be responsible for your shitty choices, and continue to be expected to do so if I decide to bail your ass out?

I felt more for her kids, but I admit that I was young, lonely, and stupid at the time. The credit card fraud was the straw that finally broke the camel's back for me. A perfect excuse too, since I was starting to consider cheating on her for the purpose of getting her to leave after attempting to break up in a civilized manner. I hope I am much wiser now.

I'm a white guy with a tat who wasted three years of my life in a relationship with someone like this (heavyset with kids). I assure you that it isn't worth it. The hard part is having to kick them out of your house after you find out they were commiting credit card fraud and spent years putting up with their controlling behavior and constant verbal abuse. Whether I'm sexy or not I guess depends on who you ask, but guys fitting her description have plenty of other options and would probably rath…

I actually don't mind whether a woman I'm dating is religious, as long as it doesn't get in the way of the relationship and I am free to believe my own thing. And yes, sex is a part of that. If a relationship is sexless, there is no point in being exclusive and you might as well be friendzoned. If she starts going off about me needing Jesus, I simply hit the eject button and move on to the next girl.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen28/09/17 09:12 PM

This girl may want to look into parallel universes. Guys with the income and dick size she wants is probably not going to approach her unless she can bring something to the table, which we have no clue about because she says nothing in her profile beyond what she wants.

The whole system of marriage will require a complete overhaul before I even seriously consider going through that again. I don't care how hot you are or how well you click with me. Aside from maybe estate planning while I'm on my deathbed, I see no benefits to marriage that I can't fulfill through other means.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen15/09/17 04:00 AM

They're not too much different from sleeping with other women, except that you don't have to worry about knocking them up. In my case, we were good friends who were just both lonely at the time and weren't looking to get into a relationship. We both got what we wanted, and I didn't have to spend a cent on her.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen04/09/17 10:01 PM

Not with the expectations she has. Single mothers fail to realize that finding a man to fix their problems is very difficult, AND is becoming less and less likely as the betas and white knights wake up and realize that it probably isn't worth it.

The article seemed pretty tame. In the end, it sounded like she was accepting the idea of being on her own with her kid since it is so hard to find a guy that measures up and is willing to put up with her.

If she mentioned that she has no job, or blatantly refers to herself as a "stay at home mommy", then I'd go more for the former. The latter is probably a given either way.

I think she'd be worth a crack at casually dating. I've been in long term relationships with much, much worse. Unfortunately I can't skateboard or play guitar to save my life, so I guess I don't make the cut.
