| -5 | Remember Men, the Republican Party is not our friendI thought this sub was supposed to be for left-wing male advocates, yet the comments paint such a dreadful picture. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/07/26 11:31 AM |
| -10 | Shopify are still selling these t-shirts...I'm gonna be honest these look like joke kink t-shirts more than anything. I have no idea if that is the intention, but "Boyfriend beater" is a common enough joke in BDSM spaces I frequent. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 09/07/26 12:40 PM |
Reason for the creation of the men's rights movement.Using Reactionary to criticise your opponent can be valid IF and only if the person is actually reactionary (see neoluddites) but it does not apply to MRM. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 26/07/22 06:02 AM
A little trick for my male advocate bros : transphobia is a stellar predictor for misandryWhat an interesting perspective. I have agreed with the premise before, but my logic followed the trans men's experience rather than trans women's, and this is really an eye opening post for me, seeing the other side of the coin. Thank you for posting this! | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 26/06/22 07:24 AM
What are good examples of female to male violence in books, movies or tv shows which are overlooked?Protagnoists of Stargate, male or female, are generally good role models. Daniel Jackson especially for me, though Carter is a bigger role model due to my career choice. Although people always say I am similar to Rodney for the same reason. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/05/22 07:13 AM

LWMA Lounge February 2022I am making this post because I feel transmasculine people often do not get enough love, even less than cis men sometimes. And I know that they might horrible as a result. So I just wanted to give you guys some love. The person who had the most impact on my life is a trans man, and I cannot thank him enough. He is the reason that I am able to pursue a career in physics, he is the reason I have developed good social skills, he's the reason I am me. Yet I have seen him receive a lot of hatred. And… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/02/22 04:45 PM
We need to stop saying thisPlacing men vs women as two different classes lie in the root of many problems we face today, and this kind of thing is exactly what we need. Thank you, TinMen, you are amazing. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/02/22 04:02 PM
The Swedish Gender Equality Agency classifies violence against men as violence against womenAsteroid impacts a town of exclusively male people, women most effected. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 18/01/22 10:54 PM
It has taken too long for me to realise this but I don't have a problem with Feminism...I'm sorry but women do not have all the power in the world by any means. This logic is identical to saying men hold all the power in the world because the rich and powerful are predominantly men. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/01/22 04:17 PM
It has taken too long for me to realise this but I don't have a problem with Feminism...Exhibit A: A very, very bad generalization. What you are saying is guilt by association and is fundamentally fallacious. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/01/22 01:04 PM

A bit off topic, but I think Aragorn is a wonderful role model for men and I am thankful for Tolkien and Viggo MortensenAragorn sings a song in his own coronation while flowers rain on him and he's tearing up when he sees the hobbits with an entire city looking at him in the film. If that isn't emotional vulnerability I don't know what is. And also, I'd say Legolas and Gimli break that trope VERY hard, as do each of the hobbits. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 21/10/21 09:58 PM
A bit off topic, but I think Aragorn is a wonderful role model for men and I am thankful for Tolkien and Viggo MortensenSaying Aragorn doesn't challenge the lone male hero is quite unfair for the books. In the books, he considers many men his friends, Halbarad and the other Rangers being a wonderful example. Elladan and Elrohir are two very important males that Aragorn was friends with even though he had no rule over them. Not to mention Legolas, Gimli, Gamdalf and Eomer. Remember, after Theoden died, Eomer was the King of the Mark. Yet those two remained friends long after Sauron fell, both politically but also … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 21/10/21 09:45 PM
It's not a men's issue, but we should have a discussion about abortionAbortion is an issue that affects everyone, for no issue exists that only affect exactly half of the population. What Texas did is horrible to say the least and it should be oppossed and discussed by this sub. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/09/21 01:31 PM
