I was at a bar with friends a few years back, and found myself seeking the restroom. This particular place had no restrooms of it's own, but two single-use restrooms in the hall, one me men's & one women's. I jumped into the (much shorter) men's room line, and shortly after the door to the women's room opened, with a man exiting.
